Space Oddity

Falling Skies 4×11

& Lexi: Let me be your weapon and end this war.

& Pope: Somebody needed to do something!

& Pope: I can’t stop seeing faces, Mason. All the dead and buried— I can’t stop seeing their faces.
Tom: Well, there’s a price you pay for caring about somebody other than yourself.

& Cochise: There are too many unknown variables on this mission.
Tom: Yeah, well, that’s why I stayed up late and reread «Space Flight for Dummies» last night.

& Weaver: I understand that emotions are raw. I understand that. But this is war. We can’t think with our hearts. We got to think with our heads. & Lexi: I’ll try my best.
Weaver: No trying, kid. Get it done.

& Tom: There’s got to be another way.
Lexi: There is one other option, a way to insulate us from the cold, um, organically.
Tom: Well, good. That sounds good... Wait! You mean like the thing in Chinatown?

& Tom: What is that?
Lexi: Protein. Amino acids. Honestly, it would take too long to explain.

& Lexi: Sweet dreams, father...

& Lexi: I know you’re angry at me, Maggie, and you have every right to be.
Maggie: Maybe I do, but at least I’m alive and angry and not a pissed-off corpse.

& Tom: Where’s Pope?
Anne: Um, he left right after the launch of the Beamer. ...
    Tom: He left? For real?

& Tom: It’s perfect. It’s too perfect. It’s too perfect. It’s too perfect, it’s too perfect, it’s perf—
Ω Exactly!

& Tom: Oh, my god. We made it. I’m the 25th human to visit the moon.
Lexi: Which makes me the 26th.
