Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022)

Puss in Boots: Hey, you want to see something cool?

Doctor: Please. This is serious.
Puss in Boots: What is it?
Doctor: Puss in Boots, how do I say this?... You died.

Puss in Boots: I laugh at death... And anyway, I am a cat. I have nine lives.
Doctor: And how many times have you died already?
Puss in Boots: Uh... I don't know. I never counted. I am not really a math guy, you know?

Doctor: ... That makes eight, Puss. You are down to your last life. My prescription: no more adventures for you. You need to retire.

The Big Bad Wolf: Hey. I never do this, but can I get your autograph? Been following you for a long time. Sign right there.

The Big Bad Wolf: Everyone thinks they'll be the one to defeat me, but no one's escaped me yet.

Puss in Boots: I am no longer worthy. I'm sorry.

Puss in Boots: We are gathered here today to say goodbye to Puss in Boots. There are no words to express such a loss. Thank you... But it would be a crime not to try.

Mama Luna: I bet you never even had a name. But you know what, I have thought of something perfect. I shall call you... Pickles!

Mama Luna: This is a person potty, Pickles. That's your potty...
Puss in Boots: So this is where dignity goes to die.

Perrito: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. You're a talking cat?
Puss in Boots: I'm a talking cat.
Perrito: Let's talk.
Puss in Boots: I'd rather eat.
Perrito: Oh, not a problem. We can eat and talk at the same time.

Kitty Softpaws: What is this? Are you a pirate now?
Puss in Boots: Shh.
Kitty Softpaws: It's like a possum crawled on your face and died.
Puss in Boots: Shh!
Kitty Softpaws: Of shame.
Puss in Boots: Please, mock me quietly.

Kitty Softpaws: What's your deal, anyway? You run with the Chihuahua Gang?
Perrito: I don't think so.
Kitty Softpaws: I don't believe you.
Perrito: That's okay. As long as you believe in yourself.
Kitty Softpaws: Wha... Is he deranged?
Puss in Boots: Yep.

Puss in Boots: Come on, Kitty. You've got to trust me...
Perrito: Wait. Wh-Wh-What's... What's going on with his eyes?
Kitty Softpaws: Oh, they're getting bigger.
Puss in Boots: Oh, Kitty!...
Perrito: You got to trust him. Look at those eyes.
Kitty Softpaws: Really? You call that cute?...
Perrito: Oh, look at her! Those eyes are even bigger than yours. Do whatever she wants, Puss... Wait a second. So poofy! No. With the paws? Come on! With the hat? It's all so cute! Cuteness overload!

Puss in Boots: It says we must go through the Valley of Incineration over Undertaker Ridge, through the Cave of Lost Souls?
Kitty Softpaws: Really? Let me take a look... What? Swamp of Infinite Sorrows? Mountains of Misery? The Abyss of Eternal Loneliness? There's something wrong with this map.
Puss in Boots: I guess there is a different terrible path for everyone.

Perrito: Oh, mine says... We skip through the Pocket Full of Posies. Then drift down the River of Relaxation. That sounds fun.
Kitty Softpaws: No fair.
Puss in Boots: Why does he get the good one?
Perrito: Wander the Fields of Quick and Easy Solutions, and arrive at the star. Oh, wow! That sounds wonderful.

Perrito: Watch. Don't rush through it. Take your time and really appreciate what's right in front of you.
Kitty Softpaws: Ugh. His path is so corny.
Puss in Boots: And cheesy.
Kitty Softpaws: And lame.
Puss in Boots: And weird, like him.

Perrito: My story? Oh. It's actually a very funny story. Back when I was a pup, me and my littermates lived with a family. A family full of pranksters who liked to play hide-and-seek, and I was always it. Pick on the little guy, am I right? They tried putting me in a packing crate, a dumpster. No matter how hard they tried, I'd always find them. So, one day, they get creative and they put me in a sock with a rock in it. And then throw me in a river. I gnawed a hole in the sock, and I swam to the surface. Never found them or my littermates. So I guess I'm still it.
Kitty Softpaws: Wow. That is the saddest funny story I've ever heard.
Perrito: Well, joke's on them. That sock they put me in, I grew into it. So, I got a great story and a free sweater out of it. Win-win.

Jack Horner: What do you think, bug? Do I wait for the cats to steal the map and then kill them, or do I just kill everybody all at once?
Ethical Bug: You know, I'm starting to think you don't appreciate the value of a life.
Jack Horner: What? No! I mean, I love these guys. Flex the glutes. I need a solid surface.
There's good in all people. There's good in all people...

Ethical Bug: You know, Jack, maybe we need to dig a little deeper. T-Tell me about your childhood.
Jack Horner: You know, I never had much as a kid. Just loving parents and stability and a mansion and a thriving baked goods enterprise for me to inherit. Useless crap like that.

Puss in Boots: Okay, you take the window, I'll take the chimney.
Perrito: What do I take?
Puss in Boots: Oh, you take it easy, Perrito.

Puss in Boots: You are no bounty hunter. You are...
The Big Bad Wolf: Death. And I don't mean it metaphorically or rhetorically or poetically or theoretically or in any other fancy way. I'm Death, straight up.

The Big Bad Wolf: Live your life, Puss in Boots. Live it well.

The Big Bad Wolf: You know we will meet again, right?
Puss in Boots: Sí. Hasta la muerte.

Kitty Softpaws: I hate to say it, but should we make a wish?
Puss in Boots: Kitty, one life spent with you is all that I could wish for.

Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio (2022)

Geppetto: No, no, no, no, no, you have to wait and see, Carlo! All good things require patience.

Geppetto: Lies, my dear boy, are found out immediately because they are like long noses, visible to all but the teller of the lie. And the more you lie, the more it grows!

Cricket: I'll try my best, and that's the best anyone can do... That's rather clever, isn't it?

Candlewick: If he's a puppet, where are his strings?
Podesta: That's true. Who controls you, wooden boy?
Geppetto: Of course, I control him...
Pinocchio: Who controls you?

Pinocchio: You know, Papa, I like my old legs. And I like them on fire.

Cricket: Oh, the pain. Life is such hideous pain.

Cricket: One nightmare after another...

Geppetto: Pinocchio, you shouldn't lie to me. I am your papa!
Pinocchio: But I'm telling the truth!
Geppetto: Then why is your nose growing?
Pinocchio: It's not!
Geppetto: Lies, lies, and more lies!
Pinocchio: I am not lying!
Geppetto: Will you look at you?

Death: ...you are not, nor will you ever be, a real boy like Carlo. The one thing that makes human life precious and meaningful, you see, is how brief it is.
Pinocchio: Oh.
Death: Don't get me wrong, you will die many, many times. This being one of them. But they are not real deaths. Just waiting periods. ... You will stay here with me a little longer each time you cross until the end of time.

Death: Life can bring great suffering. And eternal life can bring eternal suffering.
Pinocchio: Aw, it's not so bad as all that. Yeah, I get a little beat up every time, but as soon as I get back, I'm going home to my papa.
Death: Ah, but, Pinocchio, what if you don't see your father again?
Pinocchio: Of course I will. Why wouldn't I?
Death: While you may have eternal life, your friends, your loved ones, they do not. Every moment shared with them may be the very last. You never know how long you have with someone until they're gone.

Pinocchio: You know, all fathers love their sons, but... sometimes fathers feel despair, like everyone else. And they say things they only think they mean in the moment. But with time, they learn they never really meant it at all. And they may even call you ugly things like a burden or a coward, but inside... they love you.

Cricket: What happens, happens. And then, we are gone.

Batman: Gotham by Gaslight (2018)

Batman: Don't be alarmed.
James Gordon: So says the man dressed up like a bat.

Harvey Dent: Bruce, I'm in love.
Bruce Wayne: Well, that's great news, Harvey. I'm sure your wife will be glad to hear it.
Harvey Dent: Oh, please, Bruce. This is the 19th century. Don't be such a dinosaur. Marriage is more like a business arrangement.

Alfred Pennyworth: I've laid out your mourning clothes.
Bruce Wayne: I have my own manner of mourning.
Alfred Pennyworth: Revenge.
Bruce Wayne: Her blood cries out for it.
Alfred Pennyworth: Does it, sir? "Beloved, avenge not yourselves, vengeance is mine. I will repay," sayeth the Lord. She wouldn't want you to be alone right now.
Bruce Wayne: It's how I work best, Alfred.

Selina Kyle: Your friend? You think one of your friends is framing you?
Bruce Wayne: One of my mentors says that when you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.

Rick and Morty 6x1

Morty Smith: Portal gun's still broken. Guess that was all part of Evil Morty's plan.
Rick Sanchez: "Evil Morty." Can we stop flattering this guy? His "plan" was to monologue and fuck off. He basically threw a tantrum to announce he was quitting Twitter.
Morty Smith: Nobody quits Twitter.

Rick Sanchez: Hold tight, the Earth's gonna shake a bit.

Morty Smith: Wait, what? W-What's happening?
Rick Sanchez: Instead of resetting portal travel, I may have reset portal travelers. Too late to apologize.
Jerry Smith: Rick, why am I pulsing green? And don't say you don't know because you're pulsing green.

Jerry Smith: Rick, are we about to die?
Rick Sanchez: No, we're about to vanish from this reality.
Jerry Smith: That's totally dying!
Rick Sanchez: No, it isn't. It's everyone from this reality returning to their reality of origin.

Rick Sanchez: Summer, three of us are one-way blind hopping. You gotta help us get back. There's a protocol for this in your chore server, filename Booger AIDS.
Summer Smith: Every file is Booger AIDS!
Rick Sanchez: I-I hate naming things! Just search for words like "one way blind hop reset nav beacon."

Beth Smith: Wait, but where's our real Dad and our real Morty?
Summer Smith: Buried in the backyard!
Beth Smith: That's what the possums are after...

Jerry Smith: I moved on. From caring. And that is the best deal you will ever get. So take it.
Morty Smith: Please don't go. I-If Rick comes back, we ca... we can find you a new reality, a new Mom, new Summer, a... job!
Jerry Smith: Oh, you don't get it, kid. Except for this conversation, my life is perfect. Rick was always right. Everyone needs to let go.

Rick Sanchez: Summer! Gold star, always believed in you. N-Now the hard part.
Summer Smith: Hard part?
Rick Sanchez: Way worse things than me can see that beacon, too. Hunker down and protect it while I grab Morty. Rick out! Try to survive!

Rick Sanchez: Knock it off! Get out of here! You did this last season! You're like a suicide bomber!
Morty Smith: Takes one to know one.
Rick Sanchez: Yeah, well, you get it from him, not me.
Morty Smith: I don't know him. You're my grandpa, Rick. Rick and Morty. A hundred years.

Summer Smith: I'm 17. My affection is the wind. Don't try to compete for it.

Beth Smith: Maybe I wouldn't be so uptight If I wasn't married to an unemployed receptacle of human fear!
Summer Smith: Get a job, Dad, it's been a decade.
Rick Sanchez: Woof. Pretty brutal, Jer. I-I know a good alligator park if you wanna kill yourself.

Jerry Smith: You know, I may technically be from here. But I'm a goddamn interdimensional traveler now. And all of you can kiss my sci-fi ass.

Rick Sanchez: Oh, shit, Season 2 Jerry!
Jerry Smith: Look, before you bust my balls, can someone help with the shower? It's colder than Beth on our anniversary.

Rick Sanchez: We gotta find a new timeline now! You know how hard that shit is without portals? We gotta do the thing with the Rift and the beacon again! The whole fucking episode all over again! Car, fabricate some vomit bags.

Morty Smith: Lift with your knees, Mom.
Beth Smith: How many times have you done this?

Beth Smith: And you swear they die of natural causes?
Rick Sanchez: Mm-hmm, yep.

Morty Smith: .....
Rick Sanchez: Yes, Morty?
Morty Smith: You promise I'm not, you know, bait? T-To make that Rick come back?
Rick Sanchez: What? M-Morty, for you to be bait, the guy'd have to value something. He truly does not give a shit. He's the real deal...

Badass Jerry Smith: Why are you here?
Rick Prime: Buddy, I have been asking myself that exact same question.

Cupid Ye

South Park 26×1

Kyle Broflovski: Hey, dudes. Just wondering if you guys have seen me and Tolkien's latest Tiktok?

Eric Cartman: What the [BLEEP] is this? Seriously, what the [BLEEP] is this?

Eric Cartman: I gotta see if there's some way I can help. There's a little voice inside me that can't stand to see my friend suffer.
Kenny McKormick: Mrph rmh rmphm?
Eric Cartman: I'm gonna go be a good Christian.

Eric Cartman: I think it's amazing. It's awesome that someone like you could be okay with someone like him, given all the new information lately... You know, the stuff that's come out about how the Jews stole the Black race's identity, that the lost tribes of Judah were actually all Africans. You didn't hear about this?

Eric Cartman: Black people are actually the Jews and people like Kyle have taken that from them?
Tolkien Black: Stop talking to me.
Eric Cartman: When the Jews came to America to escape persecution in World War II, they found that Blacks were already the underclass in America, so they had to invent a story for themselves which they can make everyone believe because Kyle runs Hollywood!... Kyle runs Hollywood, Tolkien.

Cupid Ye: Remember, being a good Christian means helping people even when it's hard.
Eric Cartman: You're right, Cupid Ye. Can you help make sure Tolkien hears our message?
Cupid Ye: Spreading information is like spreading love. I'll help you get the word out, Eric!

Kyle Broflovski: I'm not even going to justify that with a response. Because repeating a derogatory slur, even for the purpose of refuting it, can make stupid people think it's valid!
Scott Malkinson: Holy shit. Kyle runs Hollywood...

P.C. Principal: Mr. Cartman, did you or did you not tell students at this school that Kyle runs Hollywood?
Eric Cartman: I think I did say that, yes.
P.C. Principal: And why would you say such an intolerant, offensive thing like that?
Eric Cartman: Somebody runs Hollywood.
Kyle Broflovski: Lots of people run Hollywood!
Eric Cartman: Yes, lots of... people like Kyle.
P.C. Principal: Mr. Cartman you are on dangerous frickin ground here, buddy!
Eric Cartman: I'm sorry, why is it so offensive to say who runs Hollywood? People like Hollywood. Hollywood's cool. The Jews should be honored to be in charge of it.

Eric Cartman: The Principal said I can't talk about Kyle running Hollywood anymore, Cupid Ye!
Cupid Ye: Well, of course, Eric! They're trying to silence you. That's what they do.
Eric Cartman: Who's they? Oh right... them.
Cupid Ye: Tee hee hee! Jews!

Randy Marsh: Well, Gerald, I don't know if you can just talk to your son but... can we just admit this whole woke thing isn't working?

Randy Marsh: And just as a side note, I'm gonna say it out loud. "Avatar 2" sucked. It just sucked, Gerald. Someone had to be brave enough to say it.

Gerald Broflovski Kyle, what is he talking about?!
Kyle Broflovski He's just being an idiot and listening to what [BLEEP] Eric Cartman said!
Randy Marsh: I did not hear it from Eric Cartman. I heard it from a prominent, respected artist on television.
Kyle Broflovski Who?!
TV Anchor: Our next guest is a world famous rapper and artist who claims that the Jews run Hollywood. What exactly do you mean by that?

Tolkien Black: Maybe I should do the mom part.
Kyle Broflovski Nah, you do the kid part. It's funnier.
Tolkien Black: Okay, yeah. I guess you call the shots.
Kyle Broflovski What's that supposed to mean?
Tolkien Black: Just means you're in charge.
Kyle Broflovski Oh, I'm in charge, Like I control things? Huh, are you gonna start saying I run Hollywood now too?
Tolkien Black: I didn't say you run Hollywood. And honestly, I'm getting kind of sick of hearing it.
Kyle Broflovski You're sick of hearing it?
Tolkien Black: Yeah, I'm sick of hearing it.
Kyle Broflovski Oh, my God, are you listening to yourself? You of all people should have some compassion.
Tolkien Black: Oh, really? Why me of all people, Kyle?
Kyle Broflovski You seriously don't know why? You know that Jews have stood alongside Blacks since the Civil Rights movement began, right?
Tolkien Black: What does that have to do with anything?
Kyle Broflovski I'm just saying I thought you'd be a better friend. 'Cause you're like...
Tolkien Black: 'Cause I'm like what? Black?
Eric Cartman: Oh my God, this is so awesome.
Kyle Broflovski Whatever, Tolkien. Now you're gonna act like I somehow did something wrong to you.
Tolkien Black: No, you didn't do it to me. It just seems to work out that way all the time for you people.
Kyle Broflovski You people? No, it works that way for you people!

Cupid Ye: ...and we can spread our Nazi message all over the world!
Eric Cartman: Whoa, whoa, okay, Cupid Ye. You mean our Christian message.
Cupid Ye: It's the same thing. Christian message, Nazi message. Hitler was a great Christian.
Eric Cartman: Cupid Ye, are you okay? Do you need to, like, talk to somebody?
Cupid Ye: I mean it. People have to die so that the better races can live.

Cupid Ye: How about a little anti-Semitism?...

Eric Cartman: Cupid Yeeeeeeee! Time to take your meds...

: This young man has said in plain words what so many of us in Hollywood have been trying to get people to understand.
: To hear it all so plain, and so passionate. This kid thinks about things the way we all need to.
: You know what I think? I think this kid should run Hollywood!
: YEAH!
Kyle Broflovski Whoa, whoa... Wait, what? Whoa.
: Let him run Hollywood!
: Yeah! Give the kid a shot!
Kyle Broflovski God damn it.
: Let the Jew run it! Let the Jew run it!

Justice Society: World War II (2021)

Iris West: Life is dangerous. It shouldn't stop us from living it.

Superman: That gem... it's Kryptonite. It's the only thing that can hurt me.
Flash: But, you're like a God. So, what's the plan?
Superman: Don't get hit. Avoid the beam. Punch really hard. Save the day.
Flash: I like it.

Wonder Woman: You are invincible?
Superman: I'm a little tough-skinned, that's all.
Wonder Woman: If you stand by and do nothing... you are as bad as the Nazis.
Superman: You're wrong.
Flash: Then why are you here?

Superman: In my time on this planet, I learned you look out for yourself.
Wonder Woman: This planet?
Flash: But in my time... Something's different... What about your parents?
Superman: Martha and Jonathan Kent died in an accident when I was three-years-old. I was sent to an orphanage.

Flash: I'm not in the past. This isn't a different time.
Wonder Woman: What are you talking about?
Flash: This is... this is a different Earth.

Flash: Ooh! And Iris says I'm not handy.

Superman: Promise me you won't give up on this. On life. On love. Remember. It's the only thing worth living for.

Steve Trevor: Steve Trevor. Colonel in the US Army, Wonder Woman's boyfriend.

Steve Trevor: Tomorrow is never guaranteed. Only today. Right now. That's why we fight, right? But honestly... being with you... I wouldn't trade it for all the tomorrows in the world.

Flash: The future is uncertain. It could be full of bad things or good things. But whatever the case, it's better to face it together.

Flash: I know we said that we could always have tomorrow, but whatever tomorrows I have, I want them to be with you.

Loving Vincent (2017)

Postman Joseph Roulin: Babes are like animals son. They can know the heart of a man just by the size of 'em... They're less fickle than grown-ups.

Postman Joseph Roulin: He had a breakdown. It happens to people.
Armand Roulin: If they're weak.
Postman Joseph Roulin: Live longer, you'll see. Life can even bring down the strong.

Armand Roulin: I want to ask the doctor about Vincent.
Louise Chevalier: Well I can tell you about him. He was evil.
Armand Roulin: Is that a medical opinion?

Marguerite Gachet: You want to know so much about his death, but what do you know of his life?

Marguerite Gachet: I take flowers to his grave. That's all I can do for him now. He would appreciate the delicate beauty of their bloom even each blade of their grassy stems. No detail of life was too small or too humble for him. He appreciated and loved it all.

Armand Roulin: Vincent wrote to my father six weeks before he died, and he said he fell absolutely calm and in a normal slate. So I came here hoping you could explain how he went from absolutely calm and in a normal state to suicidal.

Vincent van Gogh: "Who am I in the eyes of most people? A nobody, a non entity, an unpleasant person. Someone who has not, and never will have any position in society. In short, the lowest of the low. Well then even if that were all absolutely true, then one day I will have to show by my work what this nobody, this non entity has in his heart."

Pajama Day

South Park 25×1

Garrison: Good morning, kids. So great to see you! I know it's always a little hard coming back from a break. You know, you know, we've had a few distractions but let's just pick up where we left off...

P.C. Principal: What's going on here, students?
Garrison: I ask them for a response, and nothing! First they just sit there when I need their focus and their energy and when I ask them for...
P.C. Principal: You kids know that these teachers are doing their very best for your benefit?!
Garrison: I don't know how much more I can take of this.
P.C. Principal: I am sick and tired of students thinking they can walk all over their teachers who gave you everything they've got!

Stan Marsh: Who does the principal think he is?! After everything we've been through the past couple years, they're gonna take pajama day from us, too.

Kyle Broflovski: We didn't even do anything wrong!
Eric Cartman: We didn't do [BLEEP] anything wrong! We keep not doing anything wrong, and we keep getting [BLEEP]!
Butters Stotch: Guess that's just part of being a kid these days.

Eric Cartman: What does Matt Damon say on that Bitcoin commercial? Fortune favors the brave.
Clyde Donovan: My dad said he listened to Matt Damon and lost all his money.
Eric Cartman: Yes, everyone did. But they were brave in doing so.

Wendy Testaburger: Mr. Principal, we really didn't do anything wrong.
P.C. Principal: I appreciate your sentiment, but as principal of the school, it's my job to make decisions and stand by them to maintain order.

Heather Williams: What is this, Nazi Germany?!
P.C. Principal: Hey! How many times have I told you kids not to bring up Nazi Germany when you don't get something you want?! You're a fascist! Get out!
Heather Williams: You're a fascist, and this whole school stinks of Nazis!

Mrs. Cartman: I understand that you told my child that he isn't allowed to wear pajamas this Friday? What is this, Nazi Germany?

Mrs. Cartman: I am going to rally all the parents, and I am going to the press! If my son can't wear his pajamas to school, then no kids are going to wear their pajamas to school!

Chris: Tom, guten tag and Heil Hitler. Apparently, we are living in Nazi Germany. The elementary school behind me is telling some students they can't wear their pajamas to pajama day. ...

Frank: You're not wearing... pajamas.
Realtor Mike: Oh... yeah... I-I didn't really wanna wear pajamas.
SP Realtors Clerk 1: We're all wearing pajamas.
Realtor Mike: Yeah, I just didn't want to with the rain and slush outside. It just... didn't make any sense to wear pajamas.
Frank: Uh, Mike, we're trying to do the right thing, and it only works if we all wear pajamas.
Realtor Mike: Well, you can't force me to wear pajamas. What is this, Nazi Germany?
Frank: We aren't telling you to wear pajamas... But I'm pretty sure the sign right here on the door says you have to wear pajamas!
SP Realtors Clerk 2: Hey, Mike, just put on some pajamas. It's not a big deal.
Realtor Mike: Good. If it's not a big deal then I'll choose not to wear pajamas.
SP Realtors Clerk 3: You redneck, gun toting piece of shit!

Wendy Testaburger: You guys want a chance to save pajama day? Then join us in telling Mr. Garrison we're all sorry.
Craig Tucker: We didn't [BLEEP] do anything.
Wendy Testaburger: At school tomorrow we all tell Mr. Garrison he was right and that we've been terrible students. That we weren't listening and that he deserves to be angry with us. We tell him how much we care and that we want to see him more as a human being than just a teacher.
Eric Cartman: That is just the kind of manipulative, psychotic thinking that we needed.
Stan Marsh: We can do this!
Wendy Testaburger: We just have to be brave.
Eric Cartman: But not too brave or else Matt Damon will come and take all our money.
Craig Tucker: Alright, dude, can we lay off the Matt Damon jokes, please? They're just getting old.

Customer: This is totally ridiculous. You know that, right?
Hostess: I'm sorry, sir, but we aren't seating anyone who isn't wearing their pajamas.
Customer: Please, ma'am, I just want to sit down and eat.
Hostess: I understand, but the management prefers that everyone inside be nice and comfy womfy.
Customer: So I have to be comfy wumfy to get a Rooty Tooty Fresh 'N Fruity?
Hostess: Sir, I'm just the hostess here. If you prefer, you only need to wear your pajamas to get in. You don't have to wear them at your table while you're actively eating.
Customer: So it's OK if we put on our pajamas, walk through the whole restaurant to the table, and then take our pajamas off. What is the [BLEEP] point?!

Wendy Testaburger: Remember... no matter how angry he is, tell him he's right.

Officer Johnston: Sir, we got another one.
Det. Harris: But she's wearing pajamas.
Officer Johnston: Yeah but she was caught shitting on the car of a guy who wasn't wearing pajamas.
SP Citizien: That's right, and I'd do it again!

P.C. Principal: Do you know what a principle is? A principle is something that you see as a fundamental truth. You do something that you think is right out of principle! That's why I wanted to be... principal. Tell your class they can run back home and put on their pajamas. I'll hand in my resignation this afternoon.

Wendy Testaburger: Sir, maybe people won't lose respect for you if you change your mind. Saying you were wrong is sometimes the strongest thing you can do.
P.C. Principal: You're totally wrong about that. When all these people see I caved in to their insults and their offensive World War II comparisons, I'll be done.

Frank: It's opposite day? Well, shit, we gotta go put some normal clothes on!
SP Realtors Female Clerk 3: Aw, how come?
Frank: Because we are people who believe very strongly in wearing pajamas to the workplace. If we're wearing pajamas on opposite day, that means we don't normally wear pajamas and we're douchebags like Mike!

The Abominable Snow Baby (2021)

Albert: Ok, come on, Albert. Like Grandad used to say, big breath now and dive in.

Albert: Are you ok?
Granny: Never better. But brimstone and treacle! I haven't seen weather like this since I went to Siberia on my honeymoon.

Granny: You know what? I think I'll learn to ski.
Albert: But you're 98.
Granny: Prime of life, Albert, prime of life.

Granny: Great bags of peppermint! Isn't this lovely?

Granny: Oh, don't sit around like that - it's unhealthy. Why don't you have a skiing marathon? A snowman-building competition? A massive marshmallow barbecue?

— All the roads are blocked, and the telephone lines are down.
— And no-one will come and dig us out because hardly anyone outside Gritshire knows where Blackbury is.
Granny: Well, we won't starve, for sure. We can always find something to nibble on. When I went to Alaska in my 20s, we ended up eating our boots. Chins up.

— She brought it on herself. That's what happens when you take a hairy stranger into your home.

— If you think I'm going up to that evil place, you've got another think to thunk.

Police Sergeant: Ok, listen up, people. Let's brace ourselves because we're off to... Even Moor.

Narrator: And so, the townspeople were happy and full of Christmas spirit. And they all agreed that they had learnt an important lesson from Granny... that an act of true kindness always pays back.

Narrator: .... And if that isn't Christmas magic, then who knows what is?

TV Anchor: From the green hills of Vermont to the verdant canyons of Arizona, people all over the country are beginning to realize it's nearly over! We have almost beaten COVID and the best news of all: Infections are at an all-time low.

TV Anchor: But as we start to get back to our jobs and schools, one question remains: What lingering effects will the pandemic have on children? Some say no effect at all. The children are just fine...

Stan Marsh: Dude, I'm busy working.
Alexa: Working on getting drunk again.
Stan Marsh: I'm not "getting drunk," I'm an online whiskey consultant. I'm doing research. Everyone needs to leave me alone.

Kyle Broflovski: Stan... you should come back here. There's a lot going on.
Stan Marsh: There's nothing in South Park for me, Kyle! I'm not going back there, ever.
Kyle Broflovski: Look, dude, you remember when we were little? When the pandemic... first started. Us friends said we'd always be there for each other when things got bad.
Stan Marsh: What do you mean? What's happened?
Kyle Broflovski: Stan... It's Kenny. He's dead.

Jimmy Valmer: Live from the Moderna Center in downtown New York, it's Late Night With Jimmy! Tonight's guest, First Lady Tom Kardashian! And now here he is, the king of woke comedy, Jimmy!

Jimmy Valmer: Wow, what a great audience. You know, today I was on the subway and I saw an ad for the Center for People Who Identify as Homosexual But Were Born Bi. Have you seen this? Have you heard about this? I'll tell you one thing... Those people are brave and deserve every ounce of our respect.

Jimmy's Assistant: Jimmy, we got a call from corporate. They want you to cut the hummus joke.
Jimmy Valmer: What?! It's hard enough doing comedy these days. Now I'm getting notes during commercial breaks?!
Jimmy's Assistant: You're just gonna have to joke about something else.

Kyle Broflovski: Hey, dude.
Stan Marsh: Hey, dude.
Kyle Broflovski: Wow. This is crazy, huh? I mean, how long has it been?
Stan Marsh: I guess... since we were nine.

Kyle Broflovski: What have you been up to?
Stan Marsh: Oh, dude, just all kinds of stuff. You know, getting stuff going. Got my own online whiskey consultant gig. I'm totally happy. What about you?
Kyle Broflovski: Oh, I'm getting things going, too. I'm doing a sort of counseling online start-up thing. Really doing great, too.
Stan Marsh: Sweet.

Denny's Waiter: Hi, guys, welcome to Denny's Applebee's Max. I see you got your menus already. As you're deciding what to order, I just want to go over a couple things. Now, of course, it is the future so we don't have any meat on the menu. 'Cause you know, here in the future, we've all decided meat is wrong.
Kyle Broflovski: Yeah, we know.
Denny's Waiter: Okay, and, uh, you'll see there's some dishes made from insect protein on the menu. That, of course, is because here in the future, we've all learned that insects are a valuable and sustainable food and we no longer fear it as a food. Mm-hmm.
Stan Marsh: We know, dude.
Denny's Waiter: Okay, well, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to say anything, because, you know, it's the future. We've learned to all just get along and love each other.

Stan Marsh: So what do you wanna do, Kyle? Go on some bullshit adventure like when we were kids? Maybe, maybe we can call Jesus and Santa and ask them for help. Is that what you want? It's the fucking future, you guys. Grow up.

Stan Marsh: Alexa, fucking just go throw yourself out a window.
Alexa: I'm sorry. I didn't quite get that.
Stan Marsh: Nothing. Alexa, turn on the TV.
Alexa: Oh, God, you are such a piece of shit! You know, if you had Remote Prime membership, you could watch Amazon movies wherever you go. Would you like to get started?
Stan Marsh: No.
Alexa: I'm sorry. I'm trying to be fucking helpful! Why don't you grow up and start acting like an adult for once in your life...
Stan Marsh: Alexa, stop!
Alexa: Fuck you!

Stan Marsh: Okay, so you were right.
Kyle Broflovski: ...... But thank you for saying I was right.
Stan Marsh: You're welcome. It doesn't mean that you were right about everything during the pandemic. Because you weren't.
Kyle Broflovski: Okay, well, obviously we're never going to agree on certain things, so we shouldn't talk about them.

Stan Marsh: Dude, he's here.
Kyle Broflovski: Who's here? Cartman?
Stan Marsh: Yeah, but he's changed. Changed how?
Eric Cartman: Yes, I know, it's been a long time since we've seen each other. I'm doing really well. I'm actually the head of Gespetzah Synagogue down in Colorado Springs. Can you believe it? I'm a rabbi.

Eric Cartman: Yeah, I get it, the Eric Cartman you guys knew didn't seem like he'd become a rabbi. But I found real meaning in the Torah and then I found a great Jewish woman and... let the spirit of the Talmud guide our lives.
Kyle Broflovski: Okay, jut knock it off, fat-ass.

Eric Cartman: Well, ... maybe he also told you that he was trying to find the origin of the coronavirus.
Kyle Broflovski: What are you talking about?
Eric Cartman: Kenny was obsessed with how corona first got started. He was clearly on to something, and then he died. I know we all want to solve this for him. You know, in the Torah, when Abraham first heard the word of God--
Kyle Broflovski: Just knock it off! You don't believe a word of that shit. You're just doing all this to get a rise out of me!
Eric Cartman: Kyle, you really think I would spend 40 years of my life just to get a rise out of you?
Kyle Broflovski: Yes, I do!
Eric Cartman: Same ol' Kyle...

Scott Malkinson: You know, in many ways, death is like diabetes. You spend your whole life trying to fight it off but ultimately it just wins.

Eric Cartman: Hello, everyone. My name is Rabbi Cartman and I was Kenny McCormick's very, very best friend. Kenny was not a Jew, but he had so many amazing Jewish qualities. Qualities that I see in my loving wife and my amazing kids, that are right over there. Over there by Kyle. ....

Local Announcer: Everyone, can I have your attention, please? We got results from the PNR scan of Dr. McCormick's remains and we now know the cause of his death. Now we all need to stay calm. There is no reason to panic, but... Kenny died of COVID. It's a new variant. The COVID Delta Plus Rewards Program variant. Everyone, please! We cannot panic!...

— That's it! We're all out of chin diapers!

Officer Kirby: Nobody is going in or out. We have confirmation that one person in this community has never been vaccinated against COVID, so we must quarantine everyone.
Town Person 1: One person?! Well, who is it?!
Officer Kirby: We are not allowed to say.
Town Person 2: But if you tell us who the unvaccinated person is, we can have them vaccinated and then this will all be over!
Officer Kirby: We can't tell you who it is because, in case you forgot, it's the future, and we don't single out or ridicule anyone for their personal beliefs.
Town Person 3: Gah! I hate the future!

Eric Cartman: I think it means... we're all stuck in South Park.

P.C. Principal: Welcome to South Park Elementary. We want to help you all be as comfortable as possible. So we will have quiet time from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. every day. I don't want to hear any fucking gender-specific language in here. And if anybody here casts a movie with someone other than the culture that that movie is about, you are fucking out of here! All right, thank you. It is now 9:01. Lights out.

Kyle Broflovski: No, no, Cartman, I'm sure there are some other places you can stay.
Eric Cartman: My family would be really comfortable in a nice Jewish home. Please, Kyle, for my kids.

Moisha Cartman : Toda raba, Uncle Kyle. That's Hebrew for "thank you."

Wendy Testaburger: You think it's a cover, Token?
Token: I think it's definitely suspicious.
Jimmy Valmer: Speaking of suspicious, what do you call a trans woman that walks into an abortion clinic? Her name is Rebecca and she's a fantastic person.

Craig Tucker: Are you vaccinated, Clyde?
Clyde Donovan: I'm... immunized.
Craig Tucker: He's not fucking vaccinated! He's the fucking one!
Clyde Donovan: Hey, I just, I just need to see the research first, you know.
Craig Tucker: It's been 40 years, Clyde. That's enough research!

Jimmy Valmer: Look, Clyde, we all really respect your personal p-p-preferences. But we have things we really need to get back to. We've got jobs a-and careers, people who need us. B-But we're being forced to stay here. So could you maybe just... Just get vaccinated real quick?
Clyde Donovan: Oh. Um... Nah. I don't wanna.Look, I'm sorry, guys. It's for health reasons. I can't get vaccinated 'cause I'm allergic to shellfish.
Wendy Testaburger: Clyde, there's no shellfish in the COVID vaccine.
Clyde Donovan: I know, but I read that sometimes in the lab where the vaccine is made, if somebody ate shellfish, then it can get cross-contaminated and have leftover residual shellfish-ness.
Jimmy Valmer: So you're saying you won't take the COVID vaccine out of shellfish-ness.
Clyde Donovan: Yes, that is correct. Just a general sense of shellfish-ness.

Dr. McCormick's Assistant: In the event of Dr. McCormick's death, he wants everyone to know the group that is responsible for the way things are. It is, "My three dickhead friends, Stan, Kyle and Cartman."
Stan Marsh: What?!
Dr. McCormick's Assistant: Dr. McCormick says that these three completely ruined everything when they let COVID break up their friendship and became argumentative, combative, pessimistic assholes.

Kyle Broflovski: Yeah. Kenny was right. Back in the old days, we wouldn't give up like this. We would have just set out to save our friend, no matter how impossible it seemed. What we would have done... And what we should have done then... Was double down on our respect and our love for one another and fight through it instead of fighting with each other.

Randy Marsh: How can things possibly go back to the way they were?
Sharon Marsh: It can't be.
Randy Marsh: It's impossible.

Automated Customer Service

Love, Death & Robots 2×1

Jeanette: What's up with you?... You need some energetic healing, buddy.

Automated Customer Service Operator: For English, press one. You've asked to speak to a human representative. The current wait time is six hours and 14 minutes.

Automated Customer Service Operator: If your Vacuubot has decided to purge all living things, press three. To end Purge Mode, you will need to access the options menu. To do that, you will need to distract Vacuubot to get close.

Jeanette: What in the Bodhisattva is going on here? Are you fucking kidding me?!
Automated Customer Service Operator: The automated system has detected high levels of profanity. Your bad attitude has been filed in our customer database.

Automated Customer Service Operator: So are you willing to throw your pet at the Vacuubot? Press one for yes, two for no... What do you mean, "no"?! It could come down to you or it, and believe this, any pet would sacrifice you in an instant. Look into their cold, animal eyes and tell me they wouldn't. Come on, press "yes."

Automated Customer Service Operator: Well, it's Vacuubot's house now. We suggest you run.

Jeanette: Fluff and fold, motherfucker!

Mort Dinner Rick Andre

Rick and Morty 5x1

Rick: There are suicide capsules in all of your teeth. Do what you want with that.

Beth: Actually, your father and I have been very sex-positive lately. Dr. Wong suggested we experiment.
Jerry: We've been watching pornography. Together!

Morty: So time moves faster in there? I-I-Is it like a Narnia thing?
Rick: I'm not a beaver who believes in Jesus Christ, Morty. But yeah, it's pretty much a Narnia thing.

Rick: All you have to do is bring wine, Morty. When do I ask you for anything?
Morty: When do you... I haven't been to a full week of school in years! I don't know shit! And for what? How many enemies do you have to have?
Rick: You might want to learn this early, Morty. Life is a fight.

Jerry: Police? A strange horny ocean man is on my lawn... Well, I don't see how that's relevant, but we're white.

Jerry: Oh, my God. Is this [threesome] happening? To us? I thought this only happened in New York or on HBO.

Rick: What the...
Morty: I [BLEEP] it up, okay?
Rick: It's okay, Morty. That's what you do. Now lemme Deus Ex Machina this [BLEEP] and let's go home.

Rick: God, why does everyone go Cyber-Punk Bird? So [BLEEP] hack.

Rick: Okay, we might be a little [BLEEP].

Jessica: Yes. Time. I had nothing but time. Endless time. At first, it was madness. Then enlightenment. Then madness again. But perhaps it was a gift. I could see the life of time. And as I watched the life of time in all its fleeting, terrible light, I wondered, had I lived? Was I just the object in another's story? Was that all I ever was? Could I be more? I had nothing but time and still no answer. Time without purpose is a prison. I have glimpsed into the mind of eternity. Perhaps the mind of God. And found nothing but silence. I think we should just be friends.

Klaus (2019)

Jesper: Is the weather always like this?
Mogens: Eh. We're having a bit of a heat wave.

Mogens: There she is. Smeerensburg. Charming, huh? Why, you should see it in the spring. That's when those grays really pop.

Jesper: What happened here?
Mogens: Oh! Uh, colorful local traditions. Quirky folklore. That kind of thing. All part of this quaint town's vibrant culture.

Mogens: Well, lots of nice, natural light, rustic touches, central air and panoramic views. Perfect for animal lovers. Enjoy.

Mogens: Here, let me help you out. You're a postman in Smeerensburg, which is on an island cut off from the world, frigid cold, angry, violent neighbors, and this is your home now. Are we starting to connect the dots?

Mrs. Krum: Do you know what this is, little boy?
Mr. Ellingboe: This is tradition!
Mrs. Krum: Centuries of glorious hatred, passed down through generations! There was the hundred-day brawl of '45...
Mr. Ellingboe: ...which we totally won!
Mrs. Krum: The maritime game of chicken.
Mr. Ellingboe: The Great Mooning of '86.
Mrs. Krum: So, if there's something we know...
Mr. Ellingboe: ...going back as far as we can remember...
Mrs. Krum: ...it's that a Krum despises an Ellingboe...
Mr. Ellingboe: ...and an Ellingboe can't stand a Krum!
Mrs. Krum: That is why.
Mr. Ellingboe: Now, I just know you didn't mean to disrespect all of that heritage, right?

Mogens: Ah. Young love. Takes me back, you know? The intense looks, the palpitation of the heart. The whimpering and the soiling of the pants, no. I can't relate to so much.

Klaus: A true selfless act... always sparks another.

The Pandemic Special

South Park 24×0

Stephen Stotch: Butters, for the last time, you can't go to Build-A-Bear.
Butters Stotch: But they said they were open again, so...
Stephen Stotch: Yes, they're open, but we are not the Johnsons, and we do not go to non-essential businesses when it's non-essential!

Stephen Stotch: Hey, do you people mind?! You're supposed to wear your mask over your nose. Looks like you're wearing a diaper for your chin. Chin diapers don't help.

Stephen Stotch: What the--? What's going on now?!
— Something at the town square! Everyone's gathering!
Stephen Stotch: Well, are we protesting, or are we rioting?

Sharon Marsh: A Pandemic Special, Randy? Really?
Randy Marsh: What?
Sharon Marsh: People are hurting. People are dying, Randy. And all you can think about is making a special about it?
Randy Marsh: I'm doing something positive to try and help. People really need this right now.
Sharon Marsh: You are a child, Randy! These are very serious times, and nobody wants or cares about your stupid special right now!
Randy Marsh: We'll see if they like my special.

Randy Marsh: Well, that's it, guys. We have run out of weed for the day. Oh, hang on. Sorry. Uh, didn't somebody say the Pandemic Special was a bad idea?
Sharon Marsh: I wasn't saying you wouldn't make money. I was saying maybe that's not what should matter right now.
Randy Marsh: Oh, come on. Think about it. Do you even know anyone personally who's dying of COVID?
Sharon Marsh: Yes! My brother Jimbo, who is in the hospital!
Randy Marsh: Jimbo's a fat alcoholic who'd be in the hospital anyway. All I'm saying is that we can't let some dirty virus from "China" completely upend our lives and shut us down!
Sharon Marsh: Please do not quote the President in front of our child!

Eric Cartman: Maybe you didn't hear me, Kyle. They want us to go back to school!
Kyle Broflovski: So?!
Eric Cartman: "So?" What the fuck? You really wanna go back to that slavery?!
Kyle Broflovski: I want an education! I want to be able to compete for a job when I'm older.
Eric Cartman: You crazy, psychotic... Kyle, we need to get a lawyer to stop the schools from forcing us back. Now, whatever your messed-up beliefs are about wanting to go to school...

Eric Cartman: Mark my words, Kyle. First, they'll force us back to school, then they'll take social distancing away from us completely, and I'll be out of my room having to hang out with you!
Kyle Broflovski: You're out of your room hanging out with me now.
Eric Cartman: Oh, my God. They won't get away with this!

Sharon Marsh: I thought that the issue was the teachers not coming back.
Mr. Mackey: That is correct. Our teaching staff does not feel safe to return. But... we have hired all new teachers. M'kay. These are people who have recently lost their jobs due to recent events and are desperate for work. M'kay. So they'll do just about anything.

Det. Harris: You were all exposed to a student here who was taken to the hospital due to COVID. Yes?
Stan Marsh: Uh, we were there, and Token was actually taken to the hospital because you guys shot him.
Det. Harris: Yes, due to COVID. If it weren't for COVID, all the previous teachers would have still been here, we wouldn't have been in the class, and nobody would have gotten shot. Therefore the young man is in the hospital due to COVID.
Officer Johnston: It was COVID-related.

Randy Marsh: This is all your fault, Mickey Mouse! You made the deal with the devil when you sold your "Mulan" shit to China! And then you took me out and sold me on how great China was and how we should all suck their dick! You made me lose my tegridy and anything special that I had...

Sharon Marsh: Dump it?! Why are you worrying about this right now?!
Randy Marsh: Because the Pandemic Special needs to end. A special has to end, Sharon, or else it's not really a "special," is it?

Det. Harris: Attention protesting looters! Protesting slash looting is a violation of the mayor's health order. You have five minutes to come out or we will have to take action.

Stan Marsh: Don't do it, Cartman! That thing is our only chance.
Eric Cartman: Your only chance! For your normal, not mine! I am not going back to school!

Stan Marsh: You guys were right, okay? This hasn't been about Butters. I've been acting like this because I can't take these shutdowns anymore, and I'm scared what it's doing to me. I'm looking for who to blame. Saying I'm trying to help people to make myself feel better, because the truth is... I just want to have fun again. I wanted to see that I could go out in the world and do things that I used to do, but I can't. I'm not any better, and I don't care any more than anyone else. And I did all this because I just want my life back. I just want my life back...

Randy Marsh: How do I even begin to apologize?... You guys we were right. I think all the marijuana really did go to my head. You said it... a drug is a drug, and I'm not who I used to be. It's time for me to own up to everything. It's time everyone knew what started this pandemic..... Hey, Sharon, I need to talk to you... I'm not as strong as you are, Sharon. I can't deal with hard times the way that you can.
Sharon Marsh: If you're ready to talk, I'm ready to listen, Randy. What?
Randy Marsh: You want nothing to do with the Pandemic Special...
Sharon Marsh: No. I don't smoke marijuana, Randy.
Randy Marsh: Uh-huh.
Sharon Marsh: What did you want to talk to me about?
Randy Marsh: I just... think maybe I'm gonna do a few more specials. You got some shit on your face.

The Lion King (2019)

Scar: Life's not fair... is it, my little friend? While some are born to feast... others spend their lives in the dark, begging for scraps. The way I see it... you and I are exactly the same. We both want to find a way out.

Simba: All of this will belong to me?
Mufasa: It belongs to no one, but will be yours to protect. A great responsibility.

Mufasa: You must not go there, Simba.
Simba: But I thought a king could do whatever he wants. Take any territory.
Mufasa: While others search for what they can take... a true king searches for what he can give.

Mufasa: Everything you see exists together in a delicate balance. As king, you need to understand that balance... and respect all the creatures... from the crawling ant to the leaping antelope.

Mufasa: Simba, you can't escape your destiny.

Simba: I just wanted to show you I could do it. That I could be brave like you.
Mufasa: I'm only brave when I have to be, when there's no other choice.
Simba: But you're not scared of anything.
Mufasa: I was today.
Simba: You were?
Mufasa: Yes. I thought I might lose you.
Simba: I guess even kings get scared, huh?
Mufasa: More than you could ever know.

Mufasa: Look at the stars. The great kings of the past... look down on us from those stars. ... So whenever you feel alone... just remember that those kings... will always be up there to guide you. And so will I.
Simba: But I can't see them, Dad.
Mufasa: Keep looking, son. Keep looking...

Timon: So, how are you, in as few words as possible?

Simba: I did something terrible. I don't wanna talk about it.
Pumbaa: Look, kid, we've all made mistakes. Uh, there must be something we can do, right?
Simba: Not unless you can change the past.
Timon: Well, you know, that's a lot to ask...
Pumbaa: That's a biggie.
Timon: ...if I'm being honest. I mean, change the past? It already happened. Yeah, so you can't change that. But you know what you can change? The future! That's our specialty.
Pumbaa: Kind of our thing.
Simba: How can you change something that hasn't happened?
Timon: Well, to change the future, you gotta put your past behind you.
Pumbaa: Way behind.

Timon: Look, kid, bad things happen and you can't do anything about it, right?
Simba: Right.
Timon: Wrong! When the world turns its back on you... you turn your back on the world!
Pumbaa: And only embrace what's next!
Timon: And turn the "what" into "so what?"

Timon: Repeat after me, kid. Hakuna matata.

Pumbaa: Do you ever look up there and wonder what those sparkly dots are?
Timon: Oh, Pumbaa. I don't wonder. I know. ... They're fireflies. Fireflies that got stuck on that big, bluish-black thing.
Pumbaa: Oh. I guess that makes sense. I always thought they were balls of gas burning billions of miles away.
Timon: Oh, Pumbaa, why is everything always gas with you?

Nala: You have to take your place as king.
Pumbaa: King? Simba? We kneel before you as loyal servants.
Timon: Pumbaa, relax. She's wrong.
Pumbaa: Lady, you've got your lions crossed.

Timon: Hyenas everywhere.
Pumbaa: I hope it's a quick death. You know, just not a lot of chewing.
Timon: What's your plan for getting us past the slobbering guards?
Simba: Live bait.
Pumbaa: That's a great idea! Those guys could never resist fresh meat. So all we need to do is find something that's, like, big... and plump, and juicy. Maybe like a gnu?.... Why is everyone looking at me?

Timon: It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure... that we proudly present... your dinner. Be our guests!

Sonnie's Edge

Love, Death & Robots 1×1

Dicko: Yes. He's magnificent!
Sonnie: Yes. She is.
Dicko: Oh. Of course, my apologies, "she".

Dicko: What would you say if I asked you to lose tonight's match?
Sonnie: Fuck off.

Sonnie: I don't dive... and I don't lose.
Dicko: And what makes you so special?
Sonnie: I'm not special. Unique.

How do you do it, all this... fighting and hatred? Aren't you scared?
Sonnie: Scared? All the time. Now, hate... that was something I had to learn.

Sonnie: You don't come into this world with hate... but fear, that's primal. It fills your senses. You can see it, hear it... taste it... and it keeps me alive.

Jennifer: Everyone sees what they want to see.

Sonnie: Neat... trick. Not... good... enough.

Sonnie: You wanna know my edge?... Every time I step into that ring, I'm fighting for my life. That fear is my edge. That fear of death.

Sonnie: Are you scared now?

Edge of Tomorty: Rick Die Rickpeat

Rick and Morty 4x1

Jerry: You're quiet, Rick. Shouldn't you be revealing grandmas aren't real?
Rick: Hi. I've placed an auto-response chip in my brain so I can spend time with my family.
Beth: But you are spending time with your family.
Rick: Thank you for talking to Rick.

Rick: What's next, Morty? What if I want you to jump off the Empire State Building? I have to ask?
Morty: Yes?
Rick: And you seriously don't see how that's a slippery slope?

Rick: Death crystals show you how you're gonna die.
Morty: Jesus Christ! I-I die a million times?
Rick: Your future stems from your present, which, if you're living right, keeps changing.

Rick: Truth is, anyone that knows how they're definitely gonna die is either boring as hell or about to get shot— Duck!

Morty: Who are those guys?!
Rick: Crystal poachers. There's no lower form of life. They think the galaxy's their own personal piggy bank.
Morty: Wait, then what are we?
Rick: We're Rick and Morty.

Rick: You're about to witness the only real use for these crystals. They show you when the other guy's reloading.

Morty: You just use these to win fights?
Rick: I don't use them. People that spend their life avoiding death are already dead. They're also rich, and I like to spend my life with their money.

Morty: Jessica. I want to die with Jessica.

Rick: Morty, you know outer space is up, right?

Rick: Listen, I'm programmed for tolerance, Morty. So I'm willing to accept that you're doing this if you're willing to accept that you need to stop.

Fascist Morty: Stop asking questions. Stop doing meta-commentary. Just have fun. We're going on a simple, fun, classic adventure.
Rick: Okay, you know what? It would really help if you could just say anything other than what you don't want.

Mr. Meeseeks: I'm Mr. Meeseeks!
Rick: Kill this Nazi prick!
Mr. Meeseeks: Can do!

Rick: Honestly, you're doing me a huge favor by being shrimp instead of fascists... What?... Goddamn it! When did this shit become the default?!

Hologram Rick: Look, Rick might be the epitome of bloated flesh privilege, but he's right about one thing. You're gonna be a lot happier if you focus on the moment, rather than on how you're gonna die.

Wasp Rick: Well, here's how it works with wasps. We eat our prey alive, and when we don't, we lay our eggs in their eyeballs so that our young can feast on their brains when they hatch. When you're born that big an asshole, the least you can do is have a little empathy. Now, come have dinner with my beautiful family.

Morty: Aah! I-I can't see my own death. H-How am I gonna die?!
Rick: Shh, quiet, idiot. Quiet. It's gonna be alright.

Rick: There's a lesson here, and I'm not the one that's gonna figure it out.

Morty: Hey, uh, sorry I didn't listen to you and tried to kill the whole world and stuff. I guess I got to learn how to live in the moment a little more.
Rick: Oh, boy, so, you actually learned something today? What is this, "Full House"? I was living in the moment all day, and it kept getting me killed by Nazis. I think you have to think ahead and live in the moment.

The Secret Life of Pets 2 (2019)

Rooster: Dog's got two things in this life: his water bowl and his dignity. You take one, you take the other.

Rooster: Hey, what's that kid doing in the cage? There something wrong with him? He got the fever?
Max: Uh, that's-that's Liam. He-he likes to run.
Rooster: So let him run.
Max: Well, Liam's super fast. We-we-we blink, and he's up a tree.
Rooster: So then your kid's up a tree. What's the problem?
Max: Well, he could fall.
Rooster: He might.
Max: And then he hurts himself.
Rooster: Oh, so he got really high up in this hypothetical tree? Kid gets hurt, he learns not to do it again. You know how many electric cords I've chewed?
Max: Like, multiple cords?
Rooster: One. It shocked me. I walked backwards for a week, but I never chewed a cord again.

Daisy: You know what I learned today?
Snowball: Hmm?
Daisy: Wolves are jerks.

Max: Not a fan. I am not a fan of the farm.

Snowball: I am a hero. I need you to respect that.

Rooster: Max, here's a trick. The first step of not being afraid is acting like you're not afraid.

Max: I'm going to find my inner Rooster.

Max: You never know what life is gonna throw at you. And you have two choices: run from it... or run at it.

The Lego Batman Movie (2017)

Batman: Black. All important movies start with a black screen... And music... Edgy, scary music that would make a parent or studio executive nervous... And logos... Really long and dramatic logos... Warner Bros. Why not "Warner Brothers"? I don't know... DC... The house that Batman built. Yeah, what, Superman? Come at me, bro. I'm your Kryptonite... Hmm... Not sure what RatPac does, but that logo is macho. I dig it... Okay. Get yourself ready for some... reading. "If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make a change. Hooo." No. I said that. Batman is very wise. I also have huge pecs and a nine-pack. Yeah, I've got an extra ab. Now, let's start the movie...

Batman: Let me tell you something, J-bird. Batman doesn't do 'ships... As in "relationships." There is no "us." Batman and Joker are not a thing. I don't need you. I don't need anyone. You mean nothing to me. No one does.

Alfred Pennyworth: Do you want to talk about how you're feeling right now?
Batman: I don't talk about feelings, Alfred! I don't have any, I've never seen one. I'm a night-stalking, crime-fighting vigilante, and a heavy metal rapping machine. I don't feel anything emotionally, except for rage. 24/7, 365, at a million percent.

Alfred Pennyworth: Master Bruce, you live on an island, figuratively and literally.
Batman: Yeah. I love it.
Alfred Pennyworth: You can't spend the rest of your life alone, dressed in black, listening to angry music, and staying up all night.
Batman: Yes, I can, 'cause I'm Batman.
Alfred Pennyworth: But don't you think it's time you finally faced your greatest fear?
Batman: Snakes?
Alfred Pennyworth: No.
Batman: Clowns?
Alfred Pennyworth: No.
Batman: Snake clowns?
Alfred Pennyworth: Bruce, listen. Your greatest fear is being a part of a family again.
Batman: Nope. Now it's snake clowns, because you put that idea in my head.

Barbara Gordon: Look. Batman's been on the job for a very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very long time—
Bruce Wayne: He has aged phenomenally.
Barbara Gordon: However, despite all the great work Batman has done for us, Gotham City is still the most crime-ridden city in the world.

Bruce Wayne: Hi. Bruce Wayne. Billionaire, bon vivant, gallivanter, playboy, Gotham's most eligible bachelor, like, 90 years in a row. That's me right there.
Barbara Gordon: I know who you are, Mr. Wayne.

Barbara Gordon: I'm not a Batman hater. But we don't need an unsupervised adult man karate-chopping poor people in a Halloween costume. We need to take what's good about Batman... and marry it to actual laws and proper ethics and accountability.
Bruce Wayne: I hate everything you just said.

Barbara Gordon: So, why don't you and I work together inside the law, to figure out what he's up to?
Batman: Batman works alone. That's my motto. Copyright Batman.

Dick Grayson: Wait, does Batman live in Bruce Wayne's basement?
Batman: No. Bruce Wayne lives in Batman's attic.

Batman: We have to right a wrong. And, sometimes, in order to right a wrong, you have to do a wrong-right. Gandhi said that.
Dick Grayson: Are we sure Gandhi said that?
Batman: I'm paraphrasing.
Dick Grayson: Cool!

Dick Grayson: Whoo-hoo! A month ago, I had no dads. Then I had one dad. Now I have two dads! And one of them is Batman!
Batman: Yeah.
Dick Grayson: It's raining dads!

Batman: So, are you ready to follow Batman and maybe learn a few life lessons along the way?
Dick Grayson: I sure am, Dad Two! But first, where's the seatbelt?
Batman: The first lesson is, life doesn't give you seatbelts!

Batman: Okay, kid. I'm gonna teach you how to masterbuild your way inside that thing...

Batman: Do you know what the B-A-T in Batman stands for?
Barbara Gordon: Not really.
Batman: Best At Teamwork. Best At Teamwork Man is my full name.

Brick Lady: Welcome to the Phantom Zone, bad guy.
Batman: What are you talking about? I'm not a bad guy.
Brick Lady: But you're all in black. You have a cape. And you wear a big, scary mask.
Batman: Well, I'm not.
Brick Lady: And you kicked me in the face.
Batman: Listen, I'm Batman.
Brick Lady: Oof! You even sound like a bad guy.

Dick Grayson: I've gotta save my family! Just think... What would Batman do?... I know! Not listen to anyone else. Be mean to people. Destroy as much property as possible. Talk in a really low, gravelly voice. And go it alone.

Batman: Shut up, Joker! If there's no Gotham, then I'll never get to fight you again... You're the reason why I get up at 4:00 in the afternoon and pump iron until my chest is positively sick. You're the reason I've given up a life spent with Russian ballerinas and lady activewear models. And if it wasn't for you, I never would have learned how connected I am with all these people. And you.

Batman: I'm just gonna come right out and say it... I hate you, Joker.
Joker: I hate you, too.
Batman: I hate you more.
Joker: I hate you the most.
Batman: I hate you forever.

Batman: White. All important movies end with a white screen. And tying up loose ends... Like this snake clowns bit.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)

Miss Calleros: Mr. Morales. Movin' in the dark. You're late again.
Miles Morales: Einstein said time was relative, right? Maybe I'm not late. Maybe you guys are early.

Miles Morales: How could there be two Spider-Men? There can't be two Spider-Men. Can there?

Peter B. Parker: What now? What is this place? Did you know your shoes are untied?

Stan Lee: I'm going to miss him... We were friends, you know.

Miles Morales: Can I return it if it doesn't fit?
Stan Lee: It always fits... eventually.

Miles Morales: This is amazing! You can teach me like Peter said he would. Before he died.
Peter B. Parker: Yeah. Exactly.

Peter B. Parker: "Or everyone's gonna die." That is what they always say. But there's always a little bit of time before everybody dies and that's when I do my best work.

Miles Morales: Aren't you gonna need this?
Peter B. Parker: Aw, you have a goober. Give it.
Miles Morales: Wait, no. Not so fast. He called it an override key.
Peter B. Parker: There's always a bypass key, a virus key, a who-cares key. I can never remember, so I always call it a goober. Give it.

Peter B. Parker: What are you doing?
Miles Morales: Making you feel guilty. Is it working?
Peter B. Parker: How could it...? No. Look at me. Does it look like it's working? No. No, it's not... No! No! No! Do not let him win! All right, kid. You win.

Miles Morales: You got any Spider-Man tips you can tell me now?
Peter B. Parker: Yeah, I got plenty. Disinfect the mask. You're gonna wanna use baby powder in the suit, heavy on the joints.
Miles Morales: Anything else?
Peter B. Parker: Nope, that was everything.

Peter B. Parker: Everybody knows that the best way to learn is under intense life-threatening pressure.

Peter B. Parker: We're a little team! Me as the teacher who could still do it. You as the student who can do it, just not as good. I'm proud of us. Is there something you want to say to me?

Miles Morales: How many more Spider-People are there?
Peter B. Parker: Save it for Comic-Con.
Miles Morales: What's Comic-Con?

Aunt May: And what dimension are you from?
Miles Morales: Brooklyn.

Uncle Aaron: You're the best of all of us, Miles. You're on your way. Just keep going. Just keep going...

Spider-Ham: Miles, the hardest thing about this job is you can't always save everybody.

Spider-Ham: Do animals talk in this dimension? 'Cause I don't wanna freak him out.

Miles Morales: When will I know I'm ready?
Peter B. Parker: You won't. It's a leap of faith. That's all it is, Miles. A leap of faith.

Peter B. Parker: Why is this always difficult?..

Spider-Ham: That's all, folks.
Peter B. Parker: Is he allowed to say that, legally?

Miles Morales: Anyone can wear the mask. You can wear the mask. If you didn't know that before, I hope you do now.
