Magnhild: I can't believe this. You... you thought you were going to die, and they were just having delicious Norwegian Christmas food.
Stine - The Mistress: But it's not funny at all.
Magnhild: Oh, yes, it is. It is insanely funny, actually! You need to stop being so self-centered.
Magnhild: Listen. It's time for you to stop playing the victim. Be yourself!
Stine - The Mistress: And what should I tell Frode?
Magnhild: The truth. That's what you know best.
Stine - The Mistress: He broke up with me.
Magnhild: What did you think he was going to do? Pop some champagne?
Stine - The Mistress: No, but... He could have... driven me home, or to the boat, or something.
Magnhild: My God, can't you see yourself? Huh? Don't you know, when one door closes, another door opens up? Shouldn't we celebrate that? Right?
Thea - The Security Officer: What are you having tonight? Lamb ribs or pork ribs?
Henrik - The Handler: Uh, probably a frozen pizza, I think. Large one.
Thea - The Security Officer: Ah! You're one of those...

A Storm for Christmas #1.5
Bobbie: What is this?
Frank - The Taxidriver: "He put the man on his own animal... brought him to an inn, and took care of him." Well... make yourself useful.
Thea - The Security Officer: You doing okay? A little meltdown?
Alex - The Santa: Yeah, why?
Thea - The Security Officer: I don't know. You seem a little... stressed out?
Alex - The Santa: I'm serious, Thea. My life is fine, but work has been just... shit!
Olav - The Pilot: Mademoiselle. If you can't go to Paris, well, then... Paris can come to you. Le steak and le fries.
Diana - The Romantic: Why do all this?
Olav - The Pilot: Because I want to.

A Storm for Christmas #1.3
Diana - The Romantic: Is it fun being a pilot? You must have seen the whole world.
Olav - The Pilot: If you've seen one airport, you've seen them all.
Olav - The Pilot: Christmas is... a terrible holiday. It only exists for us to use up all our money before the new year, so we can spend the next 11 months paying off credit cards we've maxed out buying gifts. Unnecessary gifts, like the perfect necklace.
Diana - The Romantic: I'm really looking forward to seeing Paris at Christmas.
Olav - The Pilot: Paris is no more romantic than Strömstad, even if you attached a million lightbulbs to the Eiffel Tower.
Diana - The Romantic: Under the Eiffel Tower they stood, reaffirming their love for each other. After marriage vows and wedding bells, by Arc de Triomphe they drove. By the church of Notre-Dame de Paris, promises they made again that never, ever would they separate.
Olav - The Pilot: I'm sorry, but I guess you must be pretty naive if that's really what you dream about.
Diana - The Romantic: Then I guess you really are a party pooper.
David - The Traveller: Me? A God-sent angel?
Maria - The Mother: Mmm.
David - The Traveller: Muchas gracias for that, but no, I'm not. Uh, I'm no angel. I'll tell you that much! Um... Hey, I mean, no wings on me, to put it that way. Okay? No, no, but, uh... Yeah, really, this is, uh... Uh, no worries. It's... Christmastime, and everybody should be kind to each other when it's, it's, uh... Uh, Feliz Navidad!
Ingvild - The Assistant: I don't know, I just... feel like she... doesn't see me.
Arthur Berg - The Pianist: Hm. That's unfortunate. Relationships are fragile. I've ruined a few myself.

A Storm for Christmas #1.4
Bobbie: I'm really sorry...
Frank - The Taxidriver: Are you a total idiot?
Bobbie: I said I'm sorry.
Frank - The Taxidriver: Haven't you driven a car before?
Bobbie: Uh, why, just because I'm a woman?
Frank - The Taxidriver: No! Because you backed over me!
Bobbie: Okay, then, what's your number? I can just Swish you.
Frank - The Taxidriver: Swish?
Bobbie: Swish. Transfer money to your account through your phone.
Frank - The Taxidriver: ... Vipps?
Bobbie: What?
Frank - The Taxidriver: In Norway. Vipps.
Bobbie: Vipps?...
Frank - The Taxidriver: Is that... is that funny to you?
Bobbie: You... you Norwegians are so adorable.
Frank - The Taxidriver: What's so funny?!
David - The Traveller: You think you've done everything that you... expected you would do in this life?
Marius - The Bartender: Things work out in the end. Everything works out in the end.
David - The Traveller: Yeah, well, sometimes it's too late.
Marius - The Bartender: Yes. It'll work out in the end, sure. It always works out in the end. Never that bad.
Kaja: Have you read Lewis Fordsworthe?
Alex - The Santa: Uh, no, I haven't.
Kaja: He once said, "Assumption is the mother of all fuckups." I think he has a point.

A Storm for Christmas #1.2
Sara: Well, I can see that you're completely prepared for... Málaga.
David - The Traveller: Yeah, yeah, I like to come prepared. I step off the plane, I'm ready to go... I've changed clothes beforehand so I am fully acclimatized. That way, I can... just seize the day ahead. Sara: Sounds like a good plan.
David - The Traveller: Yeah. I always like to think a step ahead. Because sometimes, there can be some unpleasant surprises.
Sara: Yeah, like suddenly, your plane can be delayed or canceled. But you can't do anything about that. Nothing.
David - The Traveller: Right. Can't just sit around and waste your life thinking about the things you can do nothing about.
Sara: You've thought of it all.
David - The Traveller: Except for things I can do nothing about.
Ida - The Popstar: A Christmas song? That's the dumbest idea.
Diana - The Romantic: Isn't it so beautiful here? I mean, if you really look around you. All the sounds, the smells... When you use all your senses, airports can be exciting places, full of new worlds.
Olav - The Pilot: Pardon?
Diana - The Romantic: I just love Christmas.
Olav - The Pilot: Good for you, then.
Diana - The Romantic: Oh, and you don't?
Olav - The Pilot: For me, Christmas is about squeezing as many packages as possible underneath a big, glittery Christmas tree. So no, I don't love Christmas.
Alex - The Santa: And what do you want for Christmas?
Girl on Santas Lap: A Chanel bag and an iPhone.
Alex - The Santa: How old are you?
Girl on Santas Lap: Six.
Alex - The Santa: You know a Chanel bag costs 20,000 kroner. Don't you?
Girl on Santas Lap: Yep.
Alex - The Santa: What if Santa says no to that?
Girl on Santas Lap: Santa can't say no.
Alex - The Santa: Santa can't always give a child want they want. 'Cause the child will grow up, become an adult, and realize that a Chanel bag costs a month's wage for most people. Which is the result of just a few people having far too much money and others having too little.
Girl on Santas Lap: You're not the real Santa.
Alex - The Santa: Merry fucking Christmas.

A Storm for Christmas #1.1
David - The Traveller: That's the thing about hot dogs. What you put on a hot dog gives insight into what type of person you are. There are all kinds of sausages, right?
Ronja - The Priest: Sure.
David - The Traveller: Chorizo, bratwurst, wiener. But, you see... hm... a perfect, Norwegian hot dog packed with, you know, prawn salad, crispy onions and... pppppbth! And a small dollop of ketchup. And pbth! Some spicy mustard.
Ronja - The Priest: Oh, yeah.
David - The Traveller: Potato cake on top, that's on the same level as salted lamb ribs and chocolate-covered wafers. That's Norwegian.
Kine - The Service Assistant: You know if you get caught smoking, you can be banned from the airport?
Arthur Berg - The Pianist: That doesn't surprise me.
Marius - The Bartender: That'll be 109.
Arthur Berg - The Pianist: 109? The hell's in that beer, huh?
David - The Traveller: Pure joy in every single drop, man.
Arthur Berg - The Pianist: Yeah, more like extortion if you ask me.
David - The Traveller: Uh, was this your first negative review ever?
Arthur Berg - The Pianist: No, but it... it has a point, honestly.
David - The Traveller: Which is?
Arthur Berg - The Pianist: That it has a point.
David - The Traveller: And what is that point?
Arthur Berg - The Pianist: It's not important. Nothing comes after that damn point.
David - The Traveller: Mmm. Well, seems to me like you see it as a dead end. However, this point leaves your next direction up to you. You can reject the point, follow the point, go off in some new direction. It's all up to you, where to be.
