Continuum 3×9
& Kiera: What’s that on your wrist?
John Doe: It’s faded ink. And of course I don’t know what it means.
Kiera: But you did... At one point.
& John Doe: This is going to sound crazy. It’s like I’m not of this place. Like I am not in this time.
& Kiera: You know how you said the city just didn’t feel right? I felt that way too.
John Doe: Well maybe you’re insane.
Kiera: Maybe I’m from the future...
& Dillon: One more thing. This whole inside man theory? We discredited that. The evidence doesn’t match up.
Alec: It does. If it’s not a man. We’re talking high-tech companies. Next level security. Real tight. But what else do they like? Toys. Smart appliances. Thermostats. Refrigerators. Routers. Smart TVs. All Wi-Fi enabled and imminently hackable... They’re listening all the time. Think about that next time you leave your computer on.
Carlos: I really hate the internet.
& Kiera: You’ve chosen sides, Carlos... Are you prepared to cross that line?
& Kiera: You’re going to want to take a step back.
& Kiera: Why sully it with this kind of back alley business?
Doctor: Citizen Chips were a good idea once. Now they’re being abused by the corporate congress and people are wise to the scam that they unwittingly became a part of in the name of convenience. What’s legal and what’s right are not always the same thing.
