Two and a Half Men 3x4

Your Dismissive Attitude Toward Boobs

& Jake: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven...
    Alan: What are you doing?
    Jake: Masticating*.
    Alan: What?!
Jake: Don’t worry, it doesn’t mean what you think.
Alan: What do you think I think?
    Jake: You know...
Alan: Okay, I know what I know. What do you know?
Jake: I know that you’re supposed to masticate your food 20 times before you swallow.
Alan: Yeah, but what about the other thing?
    Jake: What other thing?
Alan: The thing you thought I was thinking.
Jake: I’m sorry, Dad. You lost me.

& Alan: Morning.
Berta: It is, but I need to talk to Charlie.

& Alan: He got home an hour ago, had a bowl of chili, threw up and went to bed.
Jake: He probably threw up ’cause he didn’t masticate enough.
Berta: Hey, pottymouth, there’s a lady present!

& Berta: Do you mind if I take your room?
    Alan: My room? Gee, I-I...
Berta: Trust me. You want me to have a room with a private crapper.
Alan: Okay. By all means. Take my room. I’ll bunk with Jake.
    Berta: Thanks.
Jake: What do you mean, you’ll bunk with Jake?!
    Alan: Is that a problem?
Jake: Yes. I need my privacy.
    Alan: For what?
    Jake: You know...

& Alan: Hey, hey, I live here, too!
Charlie: So do termites! But they don’t have guest-inviting privileges either.
Alan: You’re equating me with termites?!
Charlie: Hell, no. You can get get rid of termites.

& Berta: You know, Charlie, you’ve really got a beautiful view here.
    Charlie: You’re just noticing that?
Berta: Well, I spend most of my days looking dirty toilets and those Rorschach tests you call bedsheets...

& Charlie: But what can I do about it?
Berta: Respect’s not freely given in this life, Charlie. You got to demand it.
Charlie: You’re right. It’s time for me to stand up for myself.
Berta: Good for you. And while you’re up... would you get me one of those little Japanese beers you keep in the refrigerator?
Charlie: Oh, sure. Be right back.

& Jake: Did you know your body doesn’t digest corn? It goes out the same way it comes in. It’s like a little bookmark in your poop.
Berta: Did they teach you that at school?
Jake: Nope. It’s the powers of observation.

& Evelyn: Alan, I don’t mean to pry, but after alimony and child support, exactly how much can you afford to spend? ... Really?
    Alan: Yes, really.
Evelyn: Sweetie, my shoes cost more than this!
Alan: Well, Mom, you have a lot of shoes.
    Evelyn: The ones I’m wearing.

& Evelyn: Alan, based on this amount, you don’t need a Realtor. You need someone who sells camping equipment.

& Evelyn: May I propose a simple alternative?
Alan: I’m not living with you, Mom!
Evelyn: Okay. Well, then I have a final alternative.
Alan: And what would that be?
Evelyn: Run straight to your brother’s ass, and kiss it repeatedly.

& Jake: Why are you making us move?
    Charlie: You’re not moving.
Jake: Well, then why is Dad looking for another place for us to live?
Charlie: Because he’s trying to teach me a lesson.
Jake: Why don’t you tell him to stop?
Charlie: Because I’m trying to teach him a lesson.
    Jake: What’s your lesson?
    Charlie: That it’s my house.
    Jake: What’s his lesson?
Charlie: That he lives here, too.
Jake: Okay, I’m just a kid, but that sounds stupid even to me.

Super 8

& Joe Lamb: Martin, you okay?
Martin: Though I think I’m having a heart attack. And I have a scrape.

& Sheriff: What’s that?
Breen: Walkman. It’s like a stereo. Play your own cassette tapes. You want to try?
Sheriff: I don’t think so. Kids walking around with their own stereos, just what we need. It’s a slippery slope, my friend.

& Debbie: You know what this feels like to me? This feels like a Russian invasion.
Jackson Lamb: Debbie, I don’t think that the Russians have anything to do with what’s going on in town. But I am calling the curfew because of these exact concerns.
Debbie: Unless you can tell me who’s been messing around with our stuff, I say it’s the Soviets.

& Alice: I know he’s your friend. He’s so bossy.
Joe: But I’ve known him since kindergarten. He’s really nice.
Alice: He shouldn’t always get what he wants. I mean, who always gets what they want?

& Alice: I know I don’t know you at all. Even though it sort of feels like I do. Do you not feel like that?
Joe: No. No, I totally do. I’m just kind of in shock at this entire conversation.

Two and a Half Men 3x3

Carpet Burns and a Bite Mark

& Alan: What are you doing up so late? Charlie, what is he doing up?
    Jake: Shh, he’s asleep.
Alan: Oh, oh, I’m sorry. Charlie!
    Charlie: What?! Oh, hey, Alan.
Alan: What is he doing up so late?
Charlie: I told him to go to bed. How many times did I tell you to go to bed?
    Jake: Boy, I lost count.
    Charlie: See?

& Alan: It was a nice evening. We had a lovely dinner.
Charlie: You know, for the record, “a lovely dinner” doesn’t necessarily preclude carpet burns and a bite mark on your ass.
Alan: In this case, it was just dinner and pleasant conversation.
Charlie: Well, that’s why God gave us Cinemax and an opposable thumb.

& Charlie: Well, I can see the humor in trying to get the little bonehead* into a good school. But that doesn’t mean you start dating your ex-wife.
Alan: I-I know what you’re thinking. I’m being naive, and romantic...
    Charlie: Not even close!

& Alan: Charlie, you can’t overlook the fact that we still have a lot in common.
Charlie: Yeah, neither of you have any respect for you.

& Evelyn: Alan, we’re all here because we love you.
Rose: And we don’t want to see you make a terrible mistake.
Berta: I’m just waiting for my toaster strudel to pop. ... There we go.

& Evelyn: I burned that bridge. I said horrible things to her that I can never take back. And, keep in mind, this is a woman who worked the phrase “mousy bitch” into her wedding toast. So, if you two reconcile, I’ll have to apologize to her.
    Alan: So?
Evelyn: I’d rather kill us all.

& Charlie: Moving on. Rose, do you have something you’d like to say to Alan?
Rose: Yes, thank you. Alan, when I first met you, I didn’t care for you at all. You were a fussy, whiny control freak.
    Alan: ......... Yes, and-and now?
Rose: Now it doesn’t bother me so much.

& Charlie: I think what Rose means is that, since the divorce, you’ve grown, you’ve been reborn.
Rose: That’s not what I meant. If that was what I meant, that’s what I would’ve said.

& Alan: What is that, uh, uh, redwood?
    Judith: Teak.
Alan: Whoa, teak. That must have set me back a few bucks.
Judith: The salesman said it would pay for itself in five years.
Alan: Oh, really? Really?! How-how’s it going to do that? Is it going to get a paper route?
    Judith: ......
    Alan: It’s very nice.
    Judith: Thank you.

& Jake: Mom? How about a cookie?
Judith: You already brushed your teeth.
    Jake: No, I didn’t.
    Judith: You said you did!
    Jake: I always say that.

& Judith: Just go home, Alan.
Alan: Hey, we’re not married anymore! You can’t tell me what to do.

Red State

Brought by anashulick

& Mrs. Vasquez: Even the Nazis think this guy is “nuckin’ futs.”

& Mrs. Vasquez: All right, let’s just hope that the Cooper clan sticks with the First Amendment... and stays away from the Second Amendment. What is the Second Amendment?..
    Jarod: We get guns!

& Travis: You don’t think the three of us balling this woman in the same room... is a little faggoty?
Jarod: Jesus Christ, man. Don’t be so fuckin’ middle-class.

& Jarod: This is what happens when fuckin’ parents block porn sites, man. They make socially backwards kids.

& Sara: I bet you boys wanna get up to the devil’s business, don’t you? Well... devil’s right in here.

& Sara: Takes me a few beers to work up to the sex. So get drinkin’, ’cause I ain’t drinkin’ alone. And I don’t let no man in me unless he’s got at least two beers in him.

& Pastor Abin Cooper: And who’s the greatest enemy of God, Cheyenne?
    Cheyenne: Satan.
Pastor: Satan... That’s right, baby. Satan. Yes, ma’am. And who’s Satan’s instrument on earth, Fiona May?
    Fiona May: The homosexuals.
Pastor: That’s right, baby. The homosexuals. The homosexuals have run amok in this nation over 30 years now. Let’s see what it’s brought us. Rampant* fornication*... adultery... abortion... flagrant* sexuality... in every corner of media-movies, TV, et cetera. Schools, malls, books... clothes, toys, music... Everywhere. Everywhere! You can’t turn on the TV without seeing some jackass wavin’ his privates. That’s because the moral spine of this country has been weakened... by permissive attitudes... and an unabashed tolerance for homosexuals. Godlessness. Godlessness. The casual acceptance of the gay... has hastened our demise as a species. Fact. Why? Because they do not procreate. They do not procreate. Now, they solicit. Yeah, boy. They recruit. Yeah, boy. But they do not procreate.

& Jarod: I ain’t even gay!

& Jarod: I don’t wanna die!
Pastor: You already did, sinner. You destroyed your spirit... in a waste of shame.

& Pastor: That’s my granddaughters’... You know, it’s not politically correct to say... but women and cars... Not a good mix.

& Deputy Pete: Is Italy nice?
    Pastor: Oh, my God. Italy?
Pete: Yeah. I was thinking about taking my wife someplace exotic for our five-year... and, well, Italy was at the top of the list.
Pastor: Well, it’s full of Italians. There is that.
Pete: Full of Italians, huh? Yeah, I suppose that stands to reason.

& Joseph Keenan: If you loved me, you’d make me some coffee...

& ASAC Brooks: How much do you think a cross like that costs?
Joseph Keenan: Do you mean in dollars or common sense?

& Keenan: Put down any weapons, come out with your hands up, and you will not be harmed. Repeat: You will not be harmed.
Brooks: ... I think it’s the use of the word “repeat” that makes this work every time.

& Keenan: You said this was gonna be a simple in-and-out, sir! Simple just shit itself.

& Cheyenne: Mama, they think we’re terrorists. They’re gonna kill us all.
Sara: Good. Then I’ll be in heaven with Caleb. Isn’t that what you want? To be with your daddy and Jesus?

& Sara: Like a good Christian...

& Keenan: I’m getting promoted? ... You’re still gonna kill him.
Agent Eccles: The United States government doesn’t kill people, Agent Keenan... in or out of custody.
Agent Hammond: Of course we’re gonna kill him, Joe. We’re gonna kill him with kindness.
Keenan: You’re gonna let him go to trial?
Hammond: Oh, come on. What is this, September 10, 2001?
    Eccles: Patriot Act, bitch.
Hammond: We can plant him forever, okay? Without a trial. Never show him the light of day, let alone a TV camera or a microphone.
    Keenan: How-
Eccles: What do you think we’ve been doing the last 10 years?
Hammond: Yeah. It’s terrorism, Joe. Okay? If you kill an American because of a religious belief, you are a terrorist... and terrorists get locked the fuck up.
Keenan: If it’s all so easy to put these people away for life... why was I given those orders?
Hammond: Truth?.. ’Cause fuck people like this.
    Eccles: They’re animals.
Hammond: I mean, don’t get me wrong. Jesus saves.
Eccles: He ain’t gonna save Abin Cooper from a fuck-load of prison rape.
Hammond: Daily shtuppings by Coke-can cocks. Savor that irony, Joe.

& Keenan: People just do the strangest things when they believe they’re entitled. But they do even stranger things when they just plain believe.

Rome 2x6

Philippi

& Brutus: Look up, Cassius. Look around. Is it not wonderful?
Cassius: I see only 100,000 mouths to feed.
Brutus: You have no poetry in you, Cassius. We ride with these men to save the Republic.
Cassius: Yeah, well, sorry to be prosaic, before we do any saving of republics, we have Octavian to defeat.

& Mark Antony: Do you understand what I’m saying, or shall I speak more slowly?
Octavian: No, making use of strategic surprise is obvious... To that end, there is a list of the most prominent friends and supporters of Brutus and Cassius left in Rome. We should kill them before they learn what we’re about.
Mark Antony: ... You are a ferocious* little cunt... with a pen.

& Mark Antony: Goodbye, my love.
Atia: I shall miss you. We’re forever saying goodbye. It’s becoming tiresome.
Mark Antony: One little campaign in Greece and we shall never be parted again.

& Lucius: Good luck.
    Pullo: It’s my middle name.

& Cicero: I daresay your work today will earn you immortality.
    Pullo: How’s that?
Cicero: I will be in all the history books. My killer’s name, no doubt, will live on also.
Pullo: My name... Thought you meant me.

& - But where’s the point in that?
Levi: Zion is the point! We’re redeeming the Kingdom of Zion. Remember, friends. Remember who we are. We are the chosen people. Not slaves, not animals. The chosen people.

& Atia: Octavian, please. If only for my sake, be good to Antony.
Octavian: I am pledged to it, mother.
Atia: He’s an arrogant shit, but he’s a good and honest man.

& Brutus: Happy birthday. Sorry there’s no cake.
Cassius: Next year. You can bake me an extra big one.
    Brutus: I shan’t forget.
Cassius: No cinnamon. Makes me sneeze.

& Mark Antony: If you need to urinate, now would be the time.
    Octavian: I’m fine, thank you.
Mark Antony: You sure?.. Let us begin, then. Watch closely, boy. This is how history is made. Now... let’s have some fun. Advance!

& Octavian: What is happening? Do you know?
Mark Antony: No idea. On my command, follow me!
    Octavian: Where are you going?
Mark Antony: When in doubt, attack!

& Mark Antony: Breathe deep, boy. The smell of victory.
Octavian: Smoke, shit and rotting flesh.
    Mark Antony: Beautiful, isn’t it?

The Skin I Live In

& Presidente del Instituto de Biotecnología: There’s only one way to toughen skin... By mutating it.
Robert Ledgard: Yes, that’s what I did.
    Presidente: Transgenesis.
Robert: Yes. I transferred genetic information... from a pig’s cell to a human cell.
    Presidente: A pig’s cell?!
Robert: It’s much stronger than ours.
Presidente: You’re insane! You know the application of transgenetic therapy... in humans is completely forbidden!
Robert: Yes, I do. And, forgive me, but it seems the ultimate paradox. We intervene in everything around us... meat, clothes, vegetables, fruit, everything! Why not use scientific advances to improve our species?

& Vera Cruz: Couldn’t we just live?.. Live together.
    Robert: Live together? How?
    Vera: Like everyone.
Robert: You and I aren’t like everyone.
Vera: Look on it as another of your experiments. Living together as equals...

& Vera: Listen...
    Zeca: What?
Vera: Lets fuck in the garden, please!
Zeca: The garden? Why? I’m sick of screwing in the open air. This tiger wants a bed.

& Marilia: The things that a madman’s love can do!

& Vicente: Are you stoned?
    Norma Ledgard: Stoned?
Vicente: Have you taken any pills?
Norma: Yes. Cipralex 20... 100 mg of Deprax... 2 g of Trankimazin. I don’t take Rohipnol now. And Lyrica, of course.
Vicente: Shit! I’m high as hell too.
    Norma: High?

& Robert: And now... some aftershave.
Vicente: Why did you shave me?
    Robert: That’s a good question.

& Robert: You have to keep the new orifice* open... and manage, bit by bit, to make it deeper. Think that your life depends on that orifice... that you breathe through it. In this case... there are several dilators* of different sizes. Start by inserting the smallest one. It will hurt at first... but in a few months... the largest one will fit without any effort... and the skin... will be perfectly healed.

& Médico: Do you know what would happen to you... if the scientific community found out you used transgenesis... on someone you’d kidnapped?
Robert: I don’t like threats, they end up infecting me.

Clean Skin

& Lynne: Well, I have downloaded his phone for you. I’m done. What about you?
Carrie: Me? No. I’m never done.

& Jessica: I heard Dana laughing, it was hard not to. What was so funny?
Brody: Oh. It was this video called YouTube. Have you seen it?
Jessica: The dog talking about food?
Brody: No, not that one. I saw a cat that smokes. It was really quite funny.

& Lawrence: Sergeant Brody, your commanders showed us the results of your initial medical exam... There’s a section, “Scars and Other Identifying Marks.” It goes on for nearly two pages. You were beaten.
    Brody: Yes.
    Lawrence: Tortured.
    Brody: That’s right.
    Lawrence: To what end?

& Lawrence: How do you resist that?
Brody: ... You can’t. Except by believing that those people they want you to renounce, that they’re keeping the faith in you, and you owe it to them to do the same.
    Lawrence: Semper fidelis.
    Brody: ........ Yeah.

& ’Welcome to Gaucho Taco. We’ll be with you in a minute.’

Latif Bin Walid: The prince can be excruciatingly indirect in making his wishes known... but for that, he has me. Is there a problem?
    Lynne: ... No. No problem.

& Dana: So... why are you even doing this stupid interview then, if things don’t make sense?
Brody: I don’t know. Maybe just to keep the peace.
Dana: What are you going to say?
Brody: Well, I’m not going to lie. But I’m not going to tell the truth, either.

& Saul: What do you want me to say? It matters? It doesn’t matter? Don’t worry, it’ll all be fine?

& A realtor: They say you get used to the noise.

    Полвека – это роскошь, которую могли себе позволить только те, кто умирал до светопреставления. {...}

    Как он смог вдруг за считанные века научиться строить, мыслить и записывать свои мысли, изменять окружающую материю и изобретать, зачем понадобилось ему рисовать и как он открыл музыку? Как смог покорить весь мир и переустроить его по своей потребности? Что именно десять тысяч лет назад прибавили к этому зверю? {...}

Mitch: Okay. I mean, so can I go talk to her?
Dr. Arrington: Mr. Emhoff, I’m sorry. Your wife is dead.
Mitch: I mean, I just saw her. We were just at home!

& Dr. Erin Mears (by Kate Winslet!): At this point, I think we have to believe this is respiratory... Maybe fomites too.
    — What’s that, fomites?
Dr. Mears: Uh, it refers to transmission from surfaces. The average person touches their face 2 or 3000 times a day.
    — Two- or 3000 times a day?!
Dr. Mears: Three to five times every waking minute. In between, we’re touching doorknobs... water fountains, elevator buttons and each other. Those things become fomites.

& — Is this something we wanna release to the press?! Respiratory and fomites?! How’s the public gonna react?
Dr. Mears: Hard to say. A plastic shark in a movie... will keep people from getting in the ocean, but a warning on cigarettes...

& Dr. Sussman: ... It shows novel characteristics and appears to be chimeric in origin. Virus is 15 to 19 kilobases in length and containing six to 10 genes. Typical of a paramyxovirus...
Alan Krumwiede (by Jude Law): It’s Godzilla, King Kong and Frankenstein all in one!

& Alan: Where’d it come from? Military?
Dr. Sussman: You’re not a doctor and you’re not a writer.
Alan: Yes, I am a writer. Yes, I am!
Dr. Sussman: Blogging is not writing. It’s graffiti with punctuation.
Alan: I am a journalist, and there’s informed discussion on the blogosphere... that this is a biological weapon.

& — Is there any way someone could weaponize the bird flu?
Dr. Ellis Cheever (by Laurence Fishburne!): Someone doesn’t have to weaponize the bird flu.The birds are doing that.

& Dr. Ally Hextall: Somewhere in the world, the wrong pig met up with the wrong bat.

& Alan: Now it all changes. Sussman gets anointed by the National Academy of Sciences... and every pharmaceutical executive gets a hard-on. They’ll be growing the virus in every lab on Earth. It’s a bad day to be a rhesus monkey. Crikey, first we shoot them into space, now we’ll be shooting them full of virus.

& Dave: My wife makes me take off my clothes in the garage. Then she leaves out a bucket of warm water and some soap. And then she douses everything in hand sanitizer after I leave. I mean, she’s overreacting, right?
Dr. Mears: Not really... And stop touching your face, Dave.

& Lenore: Ray, if you back an animal into a corner, it has no choice but to fight. And I will fight.

& Lenore: Tanya is toast. She is a dead poet walking. You can’t save her.

& Lenore: You get me my cut by tomorrow, and I will forget everything. You don’t get me my cut, and I will...
    Ray: You will what, Lenore?
Lenore: I will do things I will later regret.

Darby: He’s winning an award for selling a lot of Botox. I mean, he makes money off women feeling bad about themselves.

& Tanya: What’s so great about being a good person?!

& Darby: I don’t want you to write any more poems about me.

Wenn die soldaten

The Beta Test Initiation

& Sheldon: Hello. I’m Dr. Sheldon Cooper, and welcome to the premiere episode of ’Sheldon Cooper Presents: Fun with Flags.’ Over the next 52 weeks, you and I are going to explore the dynamic world of vexillology.

& Penny: I’m glad you asked me out again.
Leonard: Me, too; I missed you.
Penny: You see me all the time. You sure you just don’t miss the sex?
Leonard: Well, yeah, sex with you is pretty great. Have you ever tried it?
Penny: I have. You are not wrong.

& Penny: I just think if we’re gonna try dating again, we should take things slow.
Leonard: Oh, I can take it slow. Did I ever tell you about my first girlfriend in high school, Karen Berberick?.. To this day she doesn’t know we were going out... Made it easier on her when I broke things off.

& Leonard: How about this, are you familiar with the typical development for computer software?
Penny: You know... just for fun, let’s say I’m not.
Leonard: Before an application is released, they give it a trial run. W-We could do that. And if we hit a rough spot, instead of getting mad, just say, “Hey, we found a bug,” and we report it so it can be fixed.
Penny: You mean like a beta test?
Leonard: Well, technically, this would be an alpha test. A beta test requires people that weren’t involved in the development of the appli...
Penny: Seriously, do I not get credit for knowing beta test?!

& Penny: Good night, Leonard.
Leonard: Night. ... Attaboy, Hofstadter. Nothing gets the ladies hotter than software development analogies.

& Leonard: Hey, I’m back.
    Sheldon: Cut... Take 47.

& Raj: What’s your name?
    Siri: My name? It’s Siri.
Howard: Look at that! There’s finally a woman in your life you can talk to.

& Raj: How about a cup of coffee?
Siri: I’ve found six coffee shops. Three of them are fairly close to you.
Raj: I will see you gentlemen later.
Howard: She is gonna break his heart.

& Penny: Uh, we’re not counting this as a date, are we?
Leonard: Um, I’m not sure... but I think the right answer here... is “no.”
Penny: Bug report: When a guy asks me to spend time with him, maybe he plans something a little more interesting than hanging out at home, watching TV.
    Leonard: Even Doctor Who?!

& Penny: What’s this?
Leonard: My bug report to you.
Penny: Well... that’s quite a list you got there....
    Leonard: It’s color coded.
    Penny: Oh.
Leonard: Uh, red means “fix right away.” Yellow is “eh, whenever you get a chance.” And green, is “I could probably learn to live with it.” There’s a key down here at the bottom. It’s neat, huh?
    Penny: Yep.
Leonard: So, have a good night.
    Penny: Yep.

& Amy: What’s baffling me is what you could’ve possibly put on the list. “Hair too golden”? “Laugh too musical”? “World too much a better place for her mere presence in it”?
Sheldon: How about “constantly talks with food in her mouth”?
Amy: Her heart’s full of love, no one cares what’s in her mouth.

& Raj: Why don’t women like me?
Siri: Let me check on that... How about a Web search for “Why don’t women like me?”
Raj: No need. I’ve already done that.

& Raj: Thank you, darling.
Siri: You are most certainly welcome, sexy.
    Sheldon: Well done, Dr. Koothrappali.
    Raj: I’m sorry?
Sheldon: You’ve taken a great evolutionary leap by abandoning human interaction and allowing yourself to romantically bond with a soulless machine. Kudos.

& Leonard: You ready to go?
Penny: Yeah, hang on. Let me just finish this chapter.
Leonard: Can you finish it later?
Penny: No, I can’t. Reading books is a big part of my life now because, you know... ’we’d have more fun things to talk about if I read more.’

& Leonard: What are you reading?
Penny: Two Weeks to Rock Hard Abs.
Leonard: They kind of spoil the ending right in the name of that, don’t they?

& Bernadette: Who’s Siri? Is he dating somebody new?
    Howard: Yes. His phone.
Bernadette: Oh. Is that cute or creepy?
    Howard: Uh-huh.

& Raj: Siri, play some smooth jazz.
    Siri: Playing smooth jazz.
Raj: Oh, my God, Kenny G?! This woman can read me like a book. I can’t believe I bought my soul mate at Glendale Galleria.

& Penny: You’re kind of really great.
Leonard: You mean for a person whose neck massages feel like an eagle is trying to carry you to its nest?
Penny: Okay, bug report. I just complimented you. You should take it and shut up.
    Leonard: Right. Sorry, sorry.
Penny: And stop apologizing all the time.
    Leonard: Right. Sorry.

House M.D. 8x10

Runaways

& House: How long has your daughter had trouble breathing?
    HOBO: About a week now.
House: The best dads wait two or more.

& Callie: It’s not like it’s serious. I-I checked online, and it’s... Asthma or something.
House: “Or something” is the number one killer of teens with no medical degree.

& Callie: So about the inhaler for my asthma...
House: Sorry! Hospital policy specifically prohibits me from giving meds to unrelated homeless people pretending to be father and daughter. Your pants are a size too short, so either you grew a couple of inches or you grabbed the closest size in a thrift store. And only you have dimples*, which are adorable, but they’re also an X-linked dominant genetic trait.

& House: Someone been using your head as a soccer ball?
    Callie: No.
House: Much as I’d like to take your word for it, I have no interest in taking your word for it.

& House: Pay the man. He’s late for a trashcan fire.

& Callie: Would you tell me what’s going on? What’s wrong with me?
    House: I have no idea.

& Taub: Why’d you ask to meet us 30 miles away from the hospital?
House: Because I can. Also, Chris Christie’s blog says the pancakes here are the best.

& ’Confederacy Private’: Hello, good sir. My brother, the General here, gots the green-apple quickstep.
House: ..... One of us is in the wrong time zone. And if it’s me, I need to talk to a stockbroker and anyone from the Kennedy family, in that order.

& ’General’: Sir, are you questioning my resolve?
House: Yes, and your sanity. I’m multitasking.

& House: I could add some Mercury, if you want to make it more authentic.
’General’: The Confederacy thanks you, Doc.

& Chase: You could probably just hide the porn in your underwear drawer...
Taub: Magazines go away so I won’t ignore my children. I know I have to pay attention to them. I want to pay attention to them, but they’re just so... Boring.

& Adams: What happened to the social worker I called?
Foreman: Apparently, someone identifying themselves as Dr. Pujols called and said the patient ran off.
    House: Come on. “Poo holes.”

& Foreman: I’m not gonna let you blackmail me, House.
House: Oh, of course not. There’s no way someone of your integrity would let me compromise your job in any major way over some tawdry* bit of gossip. But what about compromising it in a minor way?.. Reduced clinic hours... Unlimited Internet porn budget... That makes much more sense than the nuclear option of ruining both our lives. You can keep these. I got copies.

& Taub: The sound I make is, moooo! The sound I make is, quack quack quack quack quack.
    Sophie & Sophia: ...............

& Taub: I’m an ass. On the plus side, I can now program my DVR from my phone.

& House: Go!
Park: You bet 100 bucks on a turtle race?!
House: I paid Mr. Chips 5 bucks to take a dive.

& Chase: People never lie about people they hate.

& Adams: Do you think people can change?
Chase: No. But I don’t think that’s gonna change your opinion, because... people don’t change.

& Ellen Rogers, Callie’s mother: You must be Dr. House..?
House: I save my appearances for when parents are on the brink of doing something incredibly stupid.

& Chase: Peek-a-boo! Peek-a-boo!
Taub: How do you keep doing the same thing over and over with the same level of enthusiasm?
Chase: First off, be a decent, empathetic person.

& Taub: Your patients love you because you’re empathetic!
Wilson: .... I also have kind eyes. Why are you here?

& Wilson: It’s all about common ground. You found one thing you both like or hate. John Woo movies, romance novels, kale*... Sometimes, the best way to connect with someone is stop thinking about them and focus on yourself.
    Taub: Wh—uhh.
    Wilson: What is this about?
Taub: Not everything has an agenda. See ya.

& Ellen: Do you know what’s wrong with her?
    House: Family vacations kill.

& Foreman: I’m not like you, House.
    House: True... No limp.

Microphallus

& Marty: What are you doing out of your retired shrink costume?
Jeremiah: Having a meeting with Evelyn Danton from my book club for coffee... Man, that woman can do more in bed than any post-menopausal woman has any right to be able to do.
    Marty: There goes the appetite.

& Roscoe: Hey, dad. What do you do if you like a girl and you like a boy?
    Marty: ... I don’t know, Roscoe. I don’t know.
    Roscoe: I’m open to whatever.

& Greg: ... You will be ours. I mean that... I mean that in a figurative sense. Let me put it this way... Um... I’m all about family. I mean, I personally don’t have a family anymore, so you, you all, will be my new family. We’re gonna work together and build a profitable/happy family. Familia!

& Greg: Hey, Marty. Can I talk to you for a minute?
    Marty: Sure, Greg. Let’s talk.
Greg: So, look, buddy, look. I’m gonna... I’m gonna smash your head in, then I’m gonna personally fuck your bashed-in eye socket... Metaphorically.
Marty: Well, as long as it’s metaphorically...

& Marty: There’s a couple warring factions we need to keep our eye out on, okay? The CEO who believes that his Apache Enterprise Resource Planning Initiative... He believes it is, “a”, the next wave in business process reengineering while the CFO believes it is, “b”, a ridiculous and masturbatory money suck. Hint: It’s probably not “a”.
Doug: Easy. We throw every model we can think of at it, and we see which one performs.
Jeannie: Ooh, that would be a really good idea if it were up and running. Dumb shit.
Marty: It’s very cute the way you’re all sort of learning at your own pace, but none of this shit matters, okay? The only thing that we need to figure out is what makes them think they can’t live without us for the next three years while we infect the host and bleed them dry.

& Marty: It’s all about leverage. I leverage the way people perceive me.

& Ginelle Winter: This is the accommodation that has been made.
Marty: What do you mean, “accommodation”?
    Ginelle: Because of Spalding’s handicap.
Marty: Your husband has a handicap?
    Ginelle: His... his microphallus.
Marty: I’m sorry, it sounded like you said microphallus.
Ginelle: His microphallus. His... his... his little man-clit. His teen-is. It’s like a teeny, tiny, little mushroom.

& Jeannie: What is that?! Yeah, that’s not gonna work for me.
    Spalding Winter: Really?
Jeannie: ... Actually, um... Play on.

& Jeannie: So... Indiana.
    Marty: Yeah, Indiana.
Jeannie: That was some weird shit. And my toes are all squishy*.
Marty: What do you say... we just keep this one between us, all right?
    Jeannie: Yes! That’d be best!

& Jeannie: Unbe-fucking-lievable.

& Skip: You realize how long I’ve known you and you’ve never once invited me over here?
Marty: Jesus Christ. Are you fucking serious? Skip, I have personally put about $100 million in your pocket, let alone what I’ve done for your company. This shit isn’t personal. All right? It’s not about us ever being friends here.
Skip: It is to me. It’s personal. To me. And that’s kind of what matters now. Isn’t it?
