The Big Bang Theory 3x21

The Plimpton Stimulation

Season 3, Episode 21

& Sheldon: Oh, Leonard, I have something for you. Per our roommate agreement, this is your 24-hour notice that I will be having a non-related female spending two nights in our apartment.
Leonard: When you say "non-related female," you still mean human, right?
Sheldon: Of course. Pets are banned under the roommate agreement, with the exception of service animals, such as seeing eye dogs and, one day, cybernetically-enhanced helper monkeys.

& Howard: Are you planning on kidnapping a woman?
    Sheldon: Sarcasm?
Howard: Yes, but mixed with genuine* concern.

& Howard: Yeah, um, I have a two-part question.
    Sheldon: Go ahead.
Howard: A) Are you kidding me? And B) seriously, are you freaking* kidding me?
Sheldon: A) I rarely kid. And B) when I do kid, you will know it by my use of the word "bazinga."
Howard: So you're saying the two of you are going to be sleeping in the same bed?
    Sheldon: Yes. ... Bazinga.

& Penny: Hey, Sheldon.
Sheldon: Oh, Penny, excellent. I have a question about these maxi pads. Are the wings truly functional or have I fallen victim to marketing hype?

& Penny: Wait, wait, hold on, back up. You're having a woman stay with you?
Sheldon: Yes. Why does that seem to flabbergast* everybody?
Penny: Oh... no, no, no, no. I'm not flabbergasted. I'm... puzzled.

& Sheldon: This is my friend and roommate, Dr. Leonard Hofstadter.
Leonard: Hi-lo. Oops. I-I started to say "hi," and then I switched to "hello" in the middle. It came out "hi-lo." Duh.

& Sheldon: Let me show you to your room.
Dr. Elizabeth Plimpton: All right. I guess I am tired. Good night, Leonard.
Leonard: Uh, sleep night. I mean, obously, good night. I started to say "sleep tight," then I changed my mind in the middle. I swear to God, I'm smart.
    Sheldon: Get it together, man.

& Sheldon 2 Dr. Elizabeth Plimpton: In here, you'll find emergency provisions. An eight-day supply of food and water, a crossbow, season two of Star Trek: The Original Series on a high-density flash drive.
Plimpton: What if there's a disaster that destroys all the USB ports?
Sheldon: Then there's really no reason to live, is there?

& Sheldon: Excuse me, I'm going to relieve myself.
Leonard: How do you take your coffee?
    Plimpton: Black.
    Leonard: Okeydoke.
        Pee for Houston,
        pee for Austin,
        pee for the state
        my heart got lost in.
        And shake twice for Texas.

    Something his mother taught him.
Sheldon: All right, Elizabeth, the bathroom is yours. The seat is down, and has been sanitized for your protection.

& Penny: You know what? It's, it's none of my business. If you want to sleep with Sheldon's doctor buddy right after we stopped seeing each other, go for it.
    Leonard: Well, now...
Sheldon: Excuse me. I'm uncomfortable with you recommending that Leonard pursue* having intercourse with Dr. Plimpton, who I assure you has better things to do.
Penny: I'm not recommending it. I'm saying it already happened.
Sheldon: That's preposterous*. Tell her, Leonard.
    Leonard: Well...
    Sheldon: No!!
Leonard: Come on. It wasn't my fault.
Sheldon: The implication being that you was tripped and fell into her lady parts?

& Leonard: Okay, I'll give you one more clue. It involved another person.
Raj: Did you get a Japanese love pillow?
Howard: How is a Japanese love pillow another person?
Raj: It is if you love her and give her a name.

& Raj 2 Leonard: Get lost!!!
Howard: He's right. The numbers are shaky enough as it is.
    Leonard: I don't understand.
    Plimpton: Oh, good. Leonard's here.
    Raj: Good?!!
    Leonard: Elizabeth? What's going on?
Plimpton: What's going on is you and Howard are my moving men and Raj is my new landlord. And I don't have enough money to pay any of you.

& Leonard: Is she suggesting what I think she's suggesting?
Howard: Yep. Welcome to the Penthouse Forum.

& Leonard: So, listen. I've been meaning to talk to you about the other morning.
Penny: You mean you and Dr. Slutbunny?
Leonard: Yeah, I wanted to explain...
Penny: Well, you don't owe me an explanation.
    Leonard: I don't?!
    Penny: No, you don't.
Leonard: So you're not judging me?
Penny: Oh, I'm judging you nine ways to Sunday, but you don't owe me an explanation.
Leonard: Nevertheless, I'd like to get one on the record so you can understand why I did what I did.
    Penny: I'm listening.
    Leonard: ............. She let me.

My Name Is Earl 2x20

Two Balls, Two Strikes

Season 2, Episode 20

& Earl: Randy, what are you doing? Grandpa tied that tie for me, five years ago. You know I don't know how to tie it again.

& Earl: So, it's nothing that doctors can do?
Little Chubby: Oh, I don't know. I've never been to a doctor. My dad always used to say... He said never trust a man, that wants to put his fingers in your butt.
Earl: Yeah, well, you can't argue with that logic.
Little Chubby: Yeah, but on the other hand, if dad was so smart, why would he have a giant hole in his head, where vodka should be?

& Doctor: Mister Chubby. You 've got an obdurate testicular hematoma.
Little Chubby: You know any of those words?
Doctor: He took the jingle out of your bells, son, you're not making testosterone. That explains your low sex drive.
Earl: And why you rented Memoirs of a Geisha, the other night..
Little Chubby: Man that was the worst kungfu movie ever.

& Earl: Oh, man, that was a weird dream. I was being hung up in the back of a... Oh, my God!
Little Chubby: Hey, pally, how they hanging?
    Earl: What are you doing?
Little Chubby: A little thing called payback. You may know it as a great Mel Gibson movie, but it's also a synonym for revenge.
    Earl: Are you crazy?
Little Chubby: No, you explode my marble pouch and I explode yours.

& Earl: As crazy as it all was, it also kind of made me realize something. Sometimes happiness is about giving up something precious to get something better. And it made me wonder: would I do the same? What would I sacrifice to be loved? Not my balls, sure.

Don: Clients come and go, Campbell. Sometimes it's best to rid them of unrealistic expectations.
Campbell: Are you trying to say that we can't win? Nixon's got an 8-point lead in the polls.
    Don: Not much.

& Roger: I saw those clubs going down the hallway. I thought they were for me.
    Don: They're from Jim Hobart.
    Roger: What did he offer?
    Don: Bigger.

& Don: If I leave this place one day, it will not be for more advertising.
    Roger: What else is there?

Roger: I've worked with a lot of men like you, and if you had to choose a place to die, it would be in the middle of a pitch.
Don: I've done that. I want to do something else.

& Roger: I thought about leaving once. But you know? It's daunting. Why entertain the prospect of failure?
    Don: That's a sad thought.
Roger: No. It made me look at this place. I don't want to sound sentimental, but it's not just accounts. Look around here at what you have. You want to start over?

& Penny: Oh, damn, they canceled my Visa. Oh, yay, a new MasterCard!

& Sheldon: Uh-oh.
    Penny: What?
Sheldon: I was going to get my mail.
Penny: Okay. Are... are you hoping to get it telepathically?
Sheldon: I think you mean telekinetically. And no. I just wasn't sure of the proper protocol now that you and Leonard are no longer having coitus.
Penny: God, can we please just say "no longer seeing each other"?
Sheldon: Well, we could if it were true. But as you live in the same building, you see each other all the time. The variable which has changed is the coitus.
Penny: Okay, here's the protocol: you and I are still friends, and you stop saying "coitus."

& Sheldon: Good, good. I'm glad we're still friends.
    Penny: Really?
Sheldon: Oh, yes. It was a lot of work to accommodate you in my life. I'd hate for that effort to have been in vain.

& Sheldon: Just to be clear, do I have to stop saying "coitus" with everyone or just you?
    Penny: Everyone.
Sheldon: Harsh terms. But all right... I'll just substitute "intercourse."
    Penny: Great.
Sheldon: Or "fornication*." But that has judgmental overtones, so I'll hold that in reserve.

& Penny: So, how you been?
Sheldon: Well, my existence is a continuum, so I've been what I am at each point in the implied time period.
Penny: You're just coitusing with me, aren't you?
    Sheldon: ... Bazinga.

& Penny: How's Leonard doing?
Sheldon: He seems all right. Although he does spend a disturbing amount of time looking at photographs of you and smelling the pillow you slept on. Oh, but now that I think of it, he asked me not to tell you that.
    Penny: I'll pretend I didn't hear it.
Sheldon: I'd rather you pretend I didn't say it.

& Howard: Oh, God, this is good.
Raj: Let me ask you a question. Do you believe you're going to go to hell for eating sweet and sour pork?
Howard: Jews don't have hell. We have acid reflux.

& Raj: Hey, Leonard?
    Leonard: Yeah?
Raj: I haven't had sex in a year.
Leonard: Where you going with this, Raj?
Raj: Don't flatter yourself, dude. I want to go out and meet a woman. I need a wingman. I don't want to come off like a lonely loser.

& Penny: So, what's new in your life?
Sheldon: Well, my new shoes are not made for running.
    Penny: Have you been running?
    Sheldon: No.

& Sheldon: Mmm, mmm, mmm.
Penny: I'm so glad you like it.
Sheldon: I do. Leonard never cooks for me.
Penny: Well, maybe that's 'cause Leonard can't cook.
Sheldon: You can't cook and you made me this.
    Penny: Whatever.

& Penny: Ooh, I'm gonna get the cheesecake out of the fridge.
Sheldon: Oh, Lord, I'm in Jewish hell.

& Leonard: Why did you have Chinese food with us?
Sheldon: I didn't want to upset you. Howard made it very clear that my allegiance should be to male comrades before women who sell their bodies for money.
Leonard: Is it possible he said, "Bros before hos"?
Sheldon: Yes, but I rephrased it to avoid offending the hos.

& Penny: He's such an angel when he's asleep.
Leonard: Yeah. Shame he has to wake up.
Penny: I think we can do it.
Leonard: Smother Sheldon in his sleep? Wouldn't that be wrong?
Penny: No, be friends. You and me.
    Leonard: Oh. Sure. Absolutely.

Cooper: Thank you. That's what you say. Have you read her? Rand. Atlas Shrugged. That's the one.
    Don: Yes. Yes, it is.
Cooper: See, I know you haven't read it. When you hit 40, you realize you've met or seen every kind of person there is, and I know what kind you are. Because I believe we are alike. I assume that's flattering*. By that I mean you are a productive and reasonable man, and in the end completely self-interested. It's strength. We are different... unsentimental about all the people who depend on our hard work. Take $1.99 out of that $2,500 and buy yourself a copy.
    Don: I will.

& Don: You're a nonbeliever. You've enlisted my expertise, and you've rejected it to go on the way you've been going. I'm not interested in that. You can understand.
Lipsticks client: I don't think your three months or however many thousands of dollars entitles you to refocus the core of our business.
Don: Listen, I'm not here to tell you about Jesus. You already now about Jesus. Either He lives in your heart or He doesn't. Every woman wants choices, but in the end, none wants to be one of a hundred in a box. She's unique. She makes the choices, and she's chosen him. She wants to tell the world, "He's mine. He belongs to me, not you." She marks her man with her lips. He is her possession*. You've given every girl that wears your lipstick the gift of total ownership.
    Lipsticks client: Sit down.
Don: No. Not until I know I'm not wasting my time.
    Lipsticks client: Sit down.

[ later ]

& Lipsticks client: Nice work. I think you may be right about this.
Don: Well, we'll never know, will we?
    Lipsticks client: What?!

Hobo: We all wish we were from someplace else, believe me.
    Don-kid: Ain't you heard? I'm a whore child.
Hobo: No. I hadn't heard anything about that.
    Don-kid: You don't talk like a bum*.
Hobo: I'm not. I'm a gentleman of the rails. For me, every day is brand-new. Every day's a brand-new place, people, what have you.
Don-kid: So you got no home. That's sad.
Hobo: What's at home? I had a family once: a wife, a job, a mortgage. I couldn't sleep at night tied to all those things. Then death came to find me.
    Don-kid: Did you see him?
Hobo: Only every night. So one morning, I freed myself with the clothes on my back. Good-bye. Now I sleep like a stone: Sometimes under the stars, the rain. The roof of a barn. But I sleep like a stone.

& Roy: Look at you... satisfied, dreaming up jingles for soap flakes and spot remover, telling yourself you're free.
Don: Oh, my God. Stop talking. Make something of yourself.
Roy: Like you? You make the lie. You invent want.
Don: Well, I hate to break it to you, but there is no big lie. There is no system. The universe is indifferent.

& Don: Ask me.

& Joy: I need to get knocked up, Earl. Juries go easier on pregnant women, and you know I got a deaf lawyer, and I'm guilty, so I need all the help I can get, and Darnell's not giving it to me, so I need it from you.

My Name Is Earl 2x14

Kept a Guy Locked in a Truck

Season 2, Episode 14

& Joy: Whoo-hoo! My witness is dead! Darnell, get me a pitcher* of champagne.
Darnell: You know we don't have champagne.
Joy: Then get me a Chablis and 7-Up. I want something sparkly.

& Randy: Hey, Darnell, speaking of marriage, do you have any sort of drinks for married people, like a Bloody Married or a Married-tini? I'm only interested on account of we're married now me and her.

& Catalina: What do you think, Randy? Do we need to get an apartment together?
Randy: What do you think, Earl? Do we need to get an apartment with Catalina?
Earl: I think she means just the two of you, you know, since you're married now. Just you and Catalina.
Randy: Just me and Catalina? Yes, I'd like to do it, please.

& Randy: Here's an apartment that's pretty cheap.
Catalina: Randy, we're not renting any apartment where they ask girls to send in pictures to prove they're not fatties.

& Earl: I can't believe it. I looked everywhere. The guy had no friends. Nobody even knew him.
Randy: I knew a guy like that once. Oh, wait, I guess I didn't, because if I knew him, then he wouldn't be a guy that nobody knew. I guess I didn't know a guy like that. Sorry, I thought I did.

& Earl: Not knowing Josh, I'd feel safer doing something not so...
    Walter: Creative?
Earl: Well, I was gonna say "creepy and insane," but...

& Joy: I swear to God, Earl, that dream about made me pee up my bed. I never do that sober*.
    Earl: I know. It's scary, isn't it?
Joy: Freaky. Left me feeling all... I don't know how to explain it. I mean, it's not mad, because I don't want to hurt anybody. And it's not sad, because I don't want to hurt anybody. Earl, I think I might be feeling guilty for what I did to him.
Earl: Really? Well, this may sound weird, but... I'm kind of glad to hear that. I'm proud of you, Joy.
Joy: Take it easy, cupcake. We're not girlfriends here.

& Joy: I think it's depressing. I mean, this cactus is the only living thing that'll even notice that Josh is gone. And that'll take six months at least, because these things don't take that much water.

& Earl: What the hell is that? "Big Dog 842, are you there?" The computer's talking to me. It's calling me "Big Dog."
Joy: It's not the computer talking. It's somebody in the Wide, Wide World of Web.
Earl: Can we talk back? Hello?
Joy: That's not a microphone, dummy. That's the arrow mover thingie. God, I swear I can't believe you've never heard of instant text chat.

& One Josh's chatmate: Man, Josh could make me LOL. I'd always be ROTFLMAO. And he was there when you needed him. He'd never give you a BRB or an AFK.
Indian Josh's chatmate: He always sent the best forwards. And when you sent him a chain letter, you knew he'd pass it on.
Another Josh's chatmate: He was the best damn war gamer I ever played with. He was always a medic, 'cause he liked to heal people. If only he could've healed himself.

& Darnell: If you haven't thought of a name for it, I think I have one. Mr. Prickly*.
Joy: Naming a cactus? That's the stupidest damn thing I've ever heard of in all my life.
    Darnell: Says Mrs. Prickly.

-- Dict:

    – Царство иллюзии, – добавил Андрей. – Когда ты понимаешь, что вещи не бывают хорошими или плохими, но такими они становятся лишь в нашем восприятии, ты открываешь главное – истинный мир лежит за всеми этими оценками, объяснениями и восприятиями. Иллюзия дурачит нас. Истинный мир – это Свет. И все. Один только Свет. Вот что такое мир.
    – И соответственно, тайна третьей Печати – зависть. Только избавляясь от зависти, человек может смотреть на мир непредвзято. Мир вокруг человека, освободившегося от зависти, лишается знака – плюса или минуса, он является ему реальным.
    – Как чистый Свет.
    – Хорошо, – подвел итог Гаптен. – И тайна четвертой Печати – слабость. Для доверия, о котором говорит четвертая Скрижаль, нужна сила, внутренняя сила. Все сходится.

&  Почти полвека назад немецкий сказочник Джеймс Крюс поведал миру историю о том, как Тим Талер повстречал Дьявола. Страшного гражданина в клетчатом пиджаке звали барон Треч. {...} {ах! :)}

&  «Свет преображает Тьму» – что за глупая фантазия?! {...}
    – Представьте себе, Данила, – продолжал незнакомец, хотя Данила почти уже не разбирал его слов. – В организме поселилась страшная инфекция, которая – часом раньше, часом позже – убьет человека. Что вы будете делать, Данила? Решите, что он должен выкарабкиваться сам, или дадите этому несчастному лекарства, антибиотики?
    – Антибиотики? – глухо повторил Данила.
    – Но что такое – антибиотики? Я вам скажу! Антибиотики – это убийцы. Они убивают бактерии. Можно думать, что они – некий «свет», ведь они защищают жизнь. Но давайте разберемся... Нет, они вовсе не защищают жизнь. Они ее уничтожают, и именно это дает возможность жизни продолжать себя. Так что такое «Тьма»?! Что такое «Свет»?! Простой пример – убийство и жизнь. Но кто убийца?! А кто животворит?!

Legend of the Seeker 2x19

Extinction

Season 2, Episode 19

& Darken Rahl: Relax, brother. I have the knowledge, you have the compass. Together let's save the world.

& Kahlan 2 Richard: I guess this is where we say goodbye.
Cara: Can we speed this up? She loves you, you love her, I should protect her as if she were you. Have I missed anything?

& Richard: The only reason you want to save the world is to save yourself.
Darken Rahl: Well, you've had quite a run at being the hero. Isn't it time you shared the glory with someone else?

& Darken Rahl: I told you I'm on your side. I always knew we'd make a great team, brother.

& Zedd: Oh, Renn. Enjoy youth while it lasts. Before you know it, time sneaks up on you, and you have aches in places you didn't even know you had places.

& Cara: You're wrong. They don't care for me, they only value me because... I'm effective.
Richard only keeps me because he needs me. Kahlan puts up with me because of Richard. And Zedd... Zedd would probably torch me with Wizard's Fire if he could...
That's absurd. I'm not afraid of getting close to them. I do not love them...
I don't. I am not afraid to say it. Mord-Sith are afraid of nothing...
Stop nagging. You remind me of Kahlan. All right. I love Richard. It's a Mord-Sith's duty to love the Lord Rahl...
What does it matter how I feel about Zedd and Kahlan? Fine. I care for them too. A little. There.
I said it. Are you happy now? Wisp?

Daybreakers

& Edward: What the fuck do you think it is?
Frankie: This is some birthday party, bro.
Edward: Yeah, well, I've turned 35 10 times. Birthdays are pointless.
Frankie: Bullshit. Let's have a drink.
    Edward: Smells human.
    Frankie: 100% pure.

& Edward: Is this place safe?
Elvis: Being human in a world full of vampires is about as safe as barebacking a 5-dollar whore.

& Elvis: Fuck it. I do love a good barbecue.

& Charles Bromley: It's never been about a cure. It's about repeat business.

& Elvis: Every day, the sun comes out, and every day, the vamps have to hide. Vampires can never survive. That's the truth. Elvis Presley once said, "Truth is like the sun. You can shut it out for a time, but it ain't going away."

My Name Is Earl 2x12

Our 'Cops' Is On!

Season 2, Episode 12

& Randy: Bad boys, bad boys, what'cha it gonna be?

& Cop: What the hell is going on here?
Earl: There's a big misunderstanding, Officer. Uh, uh, these batteries are "buy one, get one free." We're not stealing. We're just taking the free ones out to the car, and coming back to buy the "buy ones," I swear.

& It's not what you think.

& Earl: Man, I feel alive. Whoo! Kick ass! I'm so [Beep-Beep]. Me and my wife are havin' a domestic squabble. I guess she's got the right to be mad. I screw up a lot. But one day, I'm gonna get my life together. But not today, 'cause today I'm driving a stolen cop car.

& Earl: How you doin' back there, Kevin? You scared?
    Kevin, cameraman: A little.
Earl: That's good. I like that. You got any kids, Kevin?
    Kevin: Three.
Earl: They all the same color?
    Kevin: Yes.
Earl: Not mine. You know what's wild? The white one's the better athlete, and the black one's a little genius. Sure taught me a lesson.

& Earl: Y'all don't quit pickin' on me, I swear I'm gonna go Ruby Ridge.
Joy: Earl. What the hell are you doin'?
Earl: You said you wanted a date night, didn't you? Well, your chariot awaits.
Joy: You stole me a police car?
Earl: Yep. There's a hostage in the back too. If you say somethin' scary, he'll show you pictures of his kids. They're cute.
Joy: I love you so much, baby. I am gonna... [Bleeps] your... [Bleeping] with my sweet, sweet, sweet love... [Bleeping]
Earl: Shh. You had me at "balls."

-- Dict:

My Name Is Earl 2x10-11

South of the Border: Part Uno

Season 2, Episode 10

& Stewardess: ... And, in the event of an emergency water landing, your seat may be used as a flotation device.
Earl: Um... excuse me? Ma'am? You... you just said my seat may be used as a flotation device. Is that "may" be as in "can" be or "maybe" like "maybe yours will, or maybe yours won't"? 'Cause I didn't ask for a floating seat. I would have, but that wasn't one of the choices.
Stewardess: All the seats float, sir. And, in the event that the cabin loses pressure, oxygen masks will fall from the ceiling.
Earl: That's it. No, thank you. This is my stop. You know, you might try sprinkling in a few stories about what happens in the event the plane doesn't crash.

& Darnell: Hey, you guys back from Catalina's already?
Randy: We didn't go. Someone was afraid to fly. Someone whose name rhymes with "girl, as in 'sissy girl,'" who wears flannel shirts. Do you still need more hints? Because it's Earl.

& Earl: Look. I just don't understand how something that big can stay in the air. The wings don't even flap.

& Joy: Earl, it's okay to be afraid. Fear is just your feelings asking for a hug.
Earl: I like the new Joy.
Darnell: I don't. I mean, I still enjoy her old hotness, but new Joy doesn't have any fight in her. Those pills make her, like, Finland. I didn't fall in love with Finland, Earl.

& Earl: So, to get the pills, we went to the only doctor we knew.
The doctor: So, Earl, Randy. Says here that I haven't seen you boys since you were ten.
Earl: Well, you know, you get busy. I haven't been seeing another doctor, if that's what you're worried about.
Randy: Do you still give out lollipops?
The doctor: On the way out, if you're good.

& The doctor: So, Earl, I see you have some anxiety about flying.
Earl: Well, actually, more about crashing. Crashing and dying.

South of the Border: Part Dos

Season 2, Episode 11

& Earl: While I was making Diego understand karma, Randy was trying to understand what it meant to be a dead son.
Mami: Did you enjoy the flan?
Randy: You mean the yellow, slimy stuff I took one bite of and spit back out? It was okay.

& Earl: All that talk about monkeys at bedtime made me think of Randy. I didn't know where he was, but I sure hoped he was okay.
    Randy: Hey, Earl.
    Randy: Yeah, Randy?
Randy: Do you think when everybody dies they come back as a sandwich?
Randy: I don't know, Randy, maybe.
Randy: After I die, if you ever see a peanut butter and baloney sandwich, eat it, because that's me.
    Randy: Okay.
    Randy: Earl?
    Randy: Yeah, Randy?
    Randy: Do you miss me?
    Randy: Yeah, Randy, I do.
Randy: I miss you, too, Earl.

& Diego: You see, this symbolizes how beautiful and admired a bride should be. And that's — to remind her not to get too full of herself.
    Earl: Seems weird.
Diego: Oh, yeah? And throwing rice at people makes a lot of sense, huh? Wait till you see what you have to do...

& Diego: I now pronounce you husband and wife.
    Catalina: You're a good friend.
Earl: Randy thought about telling his new wife that he loved her, but he didn't want to risk ruining his wedding day.

-- Dict:

LOST 6x12

The Last Recruit

Season 6, Episode 12

& Kate: Are you hitting on me? It'd never work, sweetheart.
    Sawyer-cop: I'm a cop, you're a murderer...
Kate: I already told you. I'm not a murderer.
Sawyer: Yeah, well, I'm still a cop.

& Jake: We just gotta go. Follow me.
Hugo: Um, I think we should stick to Sawyer's plan, or he'll be really pissed.
Jake: This is Sawyer's plan. Let's go.

& Jake: This doesn't feel right.
    Sawyer: What doesn't feel right?
    Jake: Leaving the island.
Sawyer: You wanna tell me why not?
Jake: Because I remember how I felt last time I left... like a part of me was missing. We were brought here because we're supposed to do something, James. And if Locke... that... that thing... wants us to leave... maybe it's afraid of what happens if we stay.
    Sawyer: Get off my damn boat. {...}
Jake: James, this is a mistake. The island is not done with us yet.
Sawyer: Yeah, well, I'm done with this island. So if you wanna take a leap of faith, Jack... then take it. Get off my damn boat.

Mad Men 1x07

Red in the Face

Season 1, Episode 7

& Don: So that's it.
Dr. Wayne: Well, that's the beginning, certainly. As she becomes more forthcoming, we may be able to shed some light on the deeper issues as she talks more.
   Don: There are deeper issues?
   Dr. Wayne: Usually.

& Cooper: Stop smoking so much. It's a sign of weakness. You know how Hitler got Neville Chamberlain to give him everything at Munich? He held the conference at an old palace that forbid smoking. And after an hour and a half of not smoking, Neville Chamberlain would have given Hitler his mother as a dance partner.
Roger: All I can get from this story is that Hitler didn't smoke. And I do.
   Cooper: Good night, peanut.

& Roger 2 Donn looking @ Peggy: What are you doing tonight?
Peggy: Uh, working and going home.
Roger: I'll let you enjoy that one, honey, but I was talking to Donald here.
